I think they can hit the notes just fine if they get more training. These notes aren't too high. And honestly, twice's singing abilities aren't the best. They have room for improvement. But I think that now, they are heading in the right direction, they showed better vocals in their latest comeback

Not being funny but Momo’s ‘Baby’ and Jihyo and Nayeon ‘I love you’ are not that hard like the notes really sing that hard. I can literally name a few 4th and 5th gen groups right now that can sing those notes with ease

It’s not really the range it’s the lack of ear pieces so they can’t hear the notes to correct their pitch and the type of belts that force a high level of agility that’s signature to JYP. It also happens in Cheer Up which make Twice songs a lot harder to sing than other groups. That’s the reason they call CU the lung exploder. I wouldn’t use encores to say anyone is bad, I think we need more radio shows and covers of other groups to show they how accurate they compare.

This is what I learned from watching Twice’s encores: 1) If they stand still and look nervous, they are singing live. 2) If they dance and look comfortable, they are 100% lip syncing.

Their dancings are not only harder but look at their live vocals during encore stages! Please don’t use reasons such as the girls not being serious and joking around to excuse for Twice’s lack of good vocals! Only Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon can really sing, the rest are undeniably terrible! Twice is the only group in JYP that still hasn’t posted a video showing the group’s behind the scene, live studio recording so it seems like even JYP acknowledges it! And it looks like he learned his lesson, that’s why he debuted Itzy and NMixx in which all members can dance and sing live well at the same time.
