Welcome to my channel! Back in 2018 I graduated with my Master's in Occupational Therapy and received and a high-paying and awesome job right from the get-go. However, soon came the bills for the student loans I borrowed during my college years, and to my dismay, I borrowed around $140,000 that I now need to pay back! I decided to make this channel as a way to motivate myself, and others who are in similar predicaments due to student loans, car loans, mortgage debt, or whatever financial hurdles have/ will appear. I create videos around budgeting, net worth tracking, financial literacy, financial books, debt payoff updates, and investing apps and retirement. Be sure to like and subscribe to see more content about my journey to financial independence, as well as learn how you yourself can apply tried and true money strategies so that you can meet your financial goals.

This is amazing. Creating a video on your retirement goals would be a great use of your time 🙂
Congrats! Keep up the good work
I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer.
I'm surprised that you just mentioned Natalie Strayer here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, i'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
Natalie Strayer has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in Canada 🇨🇦 as she has been really helpful and changed lots of life's
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
After I raised up to 125k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the states also paid for my son's surgery Glory to God shalom.
Great video! Awesome transfers too! Definitely max that Roth IRA
Hey Michael, new subbie here! Just found your channel 😊 Milo is so stinking cute!! Have a great trip!! Congratulations on being so close! You got this!💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
All together, that's a large sum invested here. Well done, you'll be glad of your own self-discipline a few years in the future!
Our dogs are twins 🧸😍
My question is, why are you doing Roth contributions that are the average amount for 12 months when you didn’t begin with 12 months remaining for contributions. The deadline for 2024 is April 15, 2025. So you need to do the average for the remainder of months, so like 9 months left. So if you had $5k left to contribute, you would divide that by 9 months.
Great video, Michael. Things are progressing nicely. You have a much more relaxed breezy way about you, now that the debt is gone. Looks good on you! And of course, the Milo time, is always appreciated! 🙂
I think that's an excellent Transfer Tuesday. Besides you have decades ahead of you to contribute to retirement - getting all that debt off your back was the priority.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great transfer Tuesday. Hi Milo😊❤😊
Good morning from Virginia!
Congrats
Bro, thats amazing!! Congratulations on passing that 100k NW mark!! 🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳😃😃😃
They don't say to STOP investing in the 401k at the match limit. You just want to go back to it once you max out that Roth IRA. :) Great job, by the way!
Congrats on paying off your debts!
Congratulations Broski!!!! You are killing it. Stay focused & aligned with your inherent purpose.
Congratulations! The only way is to go up now! Keep it up!
Congratulations!!!
Amazing - congrats 🎉🎉 Cheers Sue
Congrat bro, now you’ll see the compound effect 👍🏼👍🏼
Congratulations of becoming debt free. It's the best thing. Because we reduced expenses as a part of our debt free journey, we now have (in dollars) more to save and invest per month than we had in debt payments, which is, as you have no doubt noticed.
Congratulations Michael!!!! Job well done!!!!
What model & year is your vehicle?
Awesome job, Michael!! 🎉🎉🎉
Congrats! Keep it up
Thanks!
Congrats on paying the student loan. I paid mine off, $90k, 2 years ago. I highly recommend looking into bi-weekly mortgage payments…it’ll knock off 4ish years :)
Congrats! 100k to 300k will be quicker then 1 million is around the corner
That's right! It's exciting to see these numbers rise!
Congrats new sub
Welcome aboard!
Wow you hit a milestone already. Hello milo.
Bark bark! = hello 👋
Came for the dog … stayed for the dog lol
Hahaha
Loving the video.
Thank you!
yay! the spreadsheet is back 🎉
Haha at least for the net worth updates
Woohoo🎉 Congratulations. ❤ seeing Milo😊 Will you ever show your combined assets w/ your wife
I could. It would only include adding her 2009 vehicle though so there wouldn't be a big change to the numbers. She has no debt.
So cool! Good work!
Thank you!
New sub! Ur occ therapist? Im a dietitian I work a lot with occupational therapist in the nursing home. Well, I recently retired from being a dietitian at 40 because I couldn’t take it anymore being debt-free really helped!!!!!!
That's awesome. And yes I'm an ot who works with both pediatrics and adults
Congrats. 10% to a million. Good luck on the next milestone.
Thank you! 😁
closer to 25% of the way considering the wonder of compounding
Ya saying 10% is inaccurate. He’s closer to a million than that
OMGGG!!! What can I say other than HOW COOL is that explosion of your NW?? Now you aren't dragged down its truly incredible what you can do . I'm SO EXCITED to see this next chapter of your growth of instead of being CHARGED interest you get to HARNESS interest .
That's right! It's fun to get to use interest to benefit me rather than having to pay it.
Great video. Congrats on your HUGE net worth boost! And thanks for bringing back Milo! 🙂
Haha i totally forgot to add him last week
Congrats Michael 🎉 That first $100k is a big milestone.
Thank you! I didn't even know I was there yet
I watched your debt payoff journey even though I personally don't have debt and will continue to watch to see what other goals you accomplish. I like seeing what people with average incomes like myself do with their money and always pick up little things here and there that inspire me and help me with my goals.
That's awesome! I love to inspire if u can!
What 4 funds from vanguard are you invested in?
I don't think MI sponsors anyone, and now they are charging $3 per month to use their platform. I am going to be beefing up my Fidelity account because of that.
😊❤😊
Where’s Milo ?😂
I accidentally forgot to have him come upstairs for the video LOL
Congratulations on your debt pay off which is so inspiring. I’m sure the journey has positively impacted on your financial mind set and you and your wife have gained valuable financial discipline which is the bedrock of building wealth. My advice is to get stuck into the mortgage as even fairly small monthly overpayments will knock off a huge sum from the interest bill. My husband and I paid off our mortgage in our late 40s and retired on good pensions at 50 and did this on good but not spectacular incomes, but we had developed financial discipline when we were much younger and it really paid dividends. I will watch your journey with interest and the best of luck to you and your wife.
All aboard 👍
Why use M1 to send money to Vanguard? Why not just use Vanguard directly?
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to this chapter of your journey! :-) Where's Milo? I miss him! :-)
