  I have a bf 210 h but can’t keep it running. It breaks the section or guard bar every season. I can’t get it to cut fine grass hay either. I’m a sickle bar fan and that’s all I’ve every used besides a haybine. I considered buying a new one (bfs270h)since I bought this used but I’m kinda scared since I’ve had all of these problems with this one. Anyone else having these troubles? Any suggestions?

  Whats the cost of the machine? Do you plan on making a frontmower? Is there a possible triple mower set up available(butterfly type)? Do you sell machine for automatic sharpening like BBUmwelt technik? Do you sell this in Holland?

  very like the old finger bar mowers as they were called, looks nice but I rekon a disc mower would be a more robust option for Irish conditions

  Hmm, OK - but much heavier than the old Vicon Lely Acrobat ... Makes excellent job of raking hay cleanly but so often they are abused and end up making hay ropes!

  Interesting: an "antique" machine frame with fresh coat of paint BUT a modern sleek new lowprofile cutterbar - I like the look of it. Did you miss the point in the comparison following the disc mower? I would have haaad a 50- 60hp 2WD "lightweight" tractor following the other . everyone wants but doesn't need 4WD with all that extra ballast. Huh, and farmers are serious about Carbon footprints? Looks like a good machine but may be difficlt to gain market penetration in the UK, now. Thanks for posting

  As far as I know this type of machine makes much cleaner hay than those with discs , but are much more fragile
