Killer cars
Those are some hot looking classy Corvettes 👌
what is the sticker price on the car with the option?😍😍😍
How much would the trax be that you ordered with without all the dealer add on crap? Way overpriced floor mats, way overpriced interior protection, way overpriced wax job! Can you buy this car at your dealership without these add ons? I personally feel the dealers that do these add-ons are the ones not to deal with!
they could hit 11s stock with a good driver. im a big fan of these cars.
No useful info here.
No need to be so harsh.
Beautiful car, at least bark the tiires a couple of times so we don't fall asleep !
Awesome Rides!!! Cool video. Great job!!
Beautiful car. I had one myself, Lemans blue, white stripes, black interior. Loved that car.
Hey Bobby, cool stuff.
Great video! Bobby has some awesome machines.
Best episode so far, I learned things I never new before. The truck was something I have never viewed before. I have a special place in my ❤ for Chevelle's 69, 70,71 and 72 like them all.
Great video, love the bonus footage of the old Z!
Just bought one in March… Payne Chevrolet in Springfield Tn. I am getting 38.5-41.5 mpg… I drive 34/36 miles one way to work virtual a straight shot !
Are the rear tires wider than the fronts? I like the stance.
I'm really considering buying Trax RS2, I REALLY need it to be reliable for 5 years.
Yep
We love our Trax, fun comfortable drive❤
Interesting, what are the exact measurements for the door badges? From the door crease to the top of the badge and the door edge to the extreme bottom?
Color was called Rally Yellow. 😁
What a great story and such a beautiful car!!
They say the Stag engine is awfully bad and unreliable.
Love this, your passion is inspiring.
Nice collection!! ❤
Joey is the best!
Loved this episode!!! Joey has quite a collection of old cars and trucks. My favorites were the 55 Chevy truck and the Firebird. All of his cars are beautiful, even the Lemans. I would love to drive that one because it's a 4 speed. Joeys stories of his Dad were very. Interesting. Great episode Norm and Will 😮
Joey rules!!!
I love watching you in your element.
Welcome back, Norm!
My brother has a 79 with a 403 f@cking things loud you cant even talk around it when the hood is up with the engine running lol
The one In the movie I believe was a 76 trans am with 77 front end
That is correct!
Did I miss Interior?
Great car.. one of my fav ‘69 cars ever. And working hide-always! Love the story.
NICE... I have a 68 GTO HO 4 spd in the same color combo Code D with Parchment redlines and rally II's. I bought it because the color combo.
Would have been nice with a test drive. Got a liitle mundane without it
Excellent presentation. Thank you. That said, almost always when you see a very low production volume and "uncommon" option, it is because (unless incredibly expensive) nobody wanted it. A Big Mac with fish sauce, anchovy paste and tartar sauce might be incredibly rare in the USA but it is not because it is special, nobody asked for it to be made. This is especially true when it comes to auto colors and trim options. Titty Pink and Rectum brown colored 55 Chevy's are rare for a reason.
I bought my GN in 1989, It had 2300 miles when I got it. I have made a few mods and has gotten it to run low 11s at the drag strip. I do not drivve it very much but I refuse to sell it. I now take it to car shows. I started out in high school with a 1956 century and while I was in the military I got a 1964 wildcat, I bought a 1970 le sabre when I started working at my new job. 19years later after i wore out the 1970 I ran accrosse the GN. I remember paying what I thought was a huge price of 16K for the car. Now that seems like a bragain. I presently own the GN and a 1955 special. I would like to sell the 55 to a good home. It needs transmission work and maybe a hormonic balancer. I also have an engine and transmission for a 1984-1985 GN I would like to part with.
Ah, the Corvette killer from 1987. Story goes Chevy told Buick to knock it off and the GN was history.
In 1988 buick went to front wheel drive. The transaxel could not hold up under the GN engine. So it was dropped. They did have a supercharged version but no where near the power.
@@janeshure Of course, but my story is cooler
I own 1970 rs ss Camaro my brother purchased in Ga new.Norwood car fully documented, with identification Plate love this car.
Kool stuff
When are you kickoff next recently aired show
Thanks for watching! We quit doing these weekly and instead just do them as people approach us. At the moment we have one that we are waiting to film.
I never thought having the Triumph Stag in the USA. got to say, the little Stag definitely suits American roads.
My friend had a black one. I had some crazy rides in that car. He let me drive it a couple of times. Good times! ❤️✌️ His was a lot louder! 😆 my friend was a crazy guy. May he RIP.
That thing is wicked. Hate white interior.
I have a early MK 1 Stag, and I can attest that it is a great drive. Re the overheating, that’s a thing of the past, down to original Q/A issues and/ or poor maintenance . I’ve driven mine in traffic at 30C without a problem. And on the highway it effortlessly cruises along. It’s a pretty good design for a GT. Prices are modest in NA, less so in UK.
I had a bright red ‘72 with the black interior and the hard top back in the mid ‘80’s. It had the true 72 spoke center knock off lug. Loved the car but knew the engine overheated easily so I was careful. Sold it a few years later for $3000 to a young guy and warned him about the engine cooling system issues. Tow weeks later he calls to complain it over heated and warped the heads. Oh well.
My head hurts watching 2 EV fans have a conversation about a car neither of them knows anything about.
MY head hurts reading your comment. Let's break this down. One of the individuals is our host who admits several times in the video that he does not know anything about EVs. The other is the founder of an EV conversion company who for sure knows what he's talking about. Would you mind sharing some insight about we were missing from this video? How much deeper would you like us to dive into this topic on a 15 minute video?
I believe the original wood dashboard was made from Teak wood! Back in the day my father had couple of the big Triumph 2.5pi saloons they looked similar from the front and performed outstanding good when the fuel injection was in tune!
I just had this discussion with a friend. Pre electronic cars are easier to keep dead stock. I own both a 87 t top GN and a 92 GMC typhoon and after 30 and 40 years the electronics will have to be replaced and possibly have an aftermarket ecu control these vehicles. The grandnational has a TT chip. The typhoon is getting a full electronic wiring harness, upgraded distributor, and digital dash. Good luck to the collectable hellcats and other new cars being collectable. Cars like the GN have minimal electronics. Imagine in 30 years what will fail on a hellcat with dodges lack of quality control. It will be a nightmare.
What a cool car those Stags are…I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about it..a friend had one when I was at USF in the early 70s and yes it did overheat a few times but it was a very nice ride…I love Stingray Chevrolet we have bought at last count 8 vehicles there
