Thank you very informative
Thanks so much for explaining this. I don't know why same brand makers-(specifically Mainstays in my case) couldn't have made their cordless blinds to fit in the same (already mounted) fixtures as the corded - they are close, but no go. They have also adjusted the blind widths, so you won't get the same width as your old blinds (despite what the box says) - I've tried up and down by an inch and they are still off. They could have saved a us lot of work. Thank You Again for This!
It's been 3yrs I see and still no answer on the name of the tape.
Its amazing how hard this info was to find. No one else gives the actual measurements as to what fits. Thanks!
This is BS . You never showed how to cut the metal tubing with scissors or anything else for that matter.
That worked great. Now the shade has the opposite problem. It won’t stay down. When I pull it down, it won’t stay down. Like it isn’t catching on whatever it’s supposed to be catching on.
Thanks! Great Demonstration!!
Thanks Andrew!! That was quick 😂😂
I have a question is it ok to use peel & stick vinyl plank on the stair?
What about a shade that won't stay down?
Thanks - this was very helpful. My old privacy blind had no tension at all, and I was able to fix it using this. It seems like the shade doesn't want to stay down - it doesn't always lock into place when I tug on it. Is there a quick fix for that, or is that the sort of thing you'd just replace the shade to correct?
Great help work just as you said thank you
He never cut the metal tubing. When did he cut it to adjust the size ?
What about backspace grout lines
Amazing ! Thanks for the tip !
How can i get it were in Nigeria and the cost price

Why won't my window shade stay down
Excellent video, thanks!
Very knowledgeable video. Thank you.
Where did the metal go? The metal rod!?
@donnatrimm2885 We are not crazy. He cut the vinyl and he cut the slack which goes in the bottom sleeve. But he never cut the metal tubing. That’s why when he said in the beginning that it can be cut with ordinary scissors I thought “ I got to see this”.
Goo Gone's PH is 10.5. I thought vinyl tile cleaners are supposed to be PH neutral 7.0
Thank you for that, I've been agonizing over 34 or 35 in for my window that the current ones I want to replace measure at 34.5 and it was driving me nuts!
13 years ago - I wonder how the floor is now. If I get five years out of my floor, I’ll be fine with it since really it’s just an extra space/storage area. This was helpful, thanks.
Thanks Brother. 💯
How about replacing the tiles?
Excellent explanation. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this video. It worked perfectly!!!
Won’t heat. Gun assist with removing paper back?
Andrew- are Armstrong Self Stick the best brand ?
Thanks so helpful!!
can i put boba hard surface floor polish?
Really appreciate the video. I have 3 windows on the same wall and i can never get the 3 shades to stop at the same height. I can usually get 2 to be at the same height but the 3rd shade will be a half inch higher or lower. Would like to get them all to the same height. Any suggestions? Thanks you!
so far put first down with adhesive it is staying in place all the otehr tiles are just barley sticking to the floor. think I may need to use added adhesive. I thought peel and stick would work but it seems it needs heavcy object on it or a while to even stick. I thought it was supposed to be simple. That seems to be a lie from my experiense.
Thanks so much , I was struggling half day trying to figure this out.I have got 29 blinds to do.Thank you so very much.Your trick worked like a charm.
My problem is , I’ve unrolled it all the way and, no matter what I do, I can’t roll it by hand and have it roll straight. It always goes off to one side or the other.
You absolute star!! I have a really old one of these blinds and recently I thought I was going to have to go through the nightmare of replacing the entire thing....not anymore! Thank you so much from England.
What can i put on the grout to make it stick and level to put peel and stick on wall what will adhere to grout and make it hard

How can you get the adhesive off the ceramic tiles if you decide to remove the linoleum square stick on tiles later?
Thank you for the informative and easy to follow video. I'm a disabled female who lives alone, and I just put 2 tear to size blinds up by myself in about 10 mins. The wall brackets were already hung from the previous blinds, so all I had to do was measure, tear off what wasn't needed, readjust the rod, and hang them up. I had no idea when I bought them how to adjust them, but your video helped a lot.
Baking soda neutralizes the glue-- it works wonders. NO SMELL NO ODOR --
dry or mix with what
Thanks for the repeat procedure tip!
