Welcome to the big leagues...pure, unedited EA-18G cockpit views of Naval Aviation. No music. No gimmicks. Only one ingredient: Naval Aviation with a little bit of sea foam.

Love the Fly Navy as he takes.off or see,s any other aircraft take off.🤣👏👏👍
Im moist
Signature move, just a little gassy, no big deal.
🤔
Like to see a full mission video Sick Video
Imagine you make the wrong move and you going swiming with your plane
Naval aviation, badass.
So what is the story of your call sign? PALL?
See the community tab from DEC 22.
Has there ever been weather that disallows carrier operations, I understand Aircraft carriers have stabilisation beyond other ships but does it ever get so bad you can't land or take off, and if so what happens to jets in the air?
Wow that’s awesome why Pail ?
See the community tab from DEC 22.
Jealous that you get to do this for a living. It’s always been a dream of mine.
I know everyone has a part to play, but I NEVER understood enlisting if you have an MOS that doesn't involve killing or blowing stuff up.
Awesome! I just love a flyby.
Amazing. Big thanks to you and all your fellow service members.
Just curious, do you have to get your videos reviewed before posting?
Yes, I do.
Is this a dumb question.. Could AI solve this dilemma? If both ends (probe + drouge) were able to think in real time in order to compensate for lost time.
🤷🏻♂️
Fantastic bit of flying and narration is first rate. Thanks for the fascinating content on the channel and for serving our country. Fly Navy!
'MURICA! F YEAH! Thanks Pail!❤
I've seen plenty of CAT launch videos here on KZread, but with the narration of the actual pilot in this video makes it even more special to watch and appreciate.
My dad was a CW04 and i got to spend some time on a few aircraft carriers, it was amazing. I have a question tho, you said you start up 45 min before launch, how much fuel is burned waiting and how much flight time would be lost as a result? Thanks for the videos there was not this kind of stuff to watch before my dad passed so I really enjoy learning about things he saw over his career.
We usually burn 1,000-1,800 pounds. 5-10 minutes of flight time lost, but we usually have tankers overhead.
Wanted to let you know I didn't fly for 30 years due to crippling fear. Your videos helped immensely. Been on 33 planes since. And pretty sure I can take you in dCS :) Can't thank you enough. 🙏
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
G'day PAIL. Are you back in your office.?
Pail, Excellent video as always. As a retired Vark Fixer, Love the pure raw sounds of the cockpit with a double engine run. THAT is the real 'music', the real sounds of avionics and those F414's (TF30's in my case). Pilot and/or a Maintainer's oneness with the machine was a pure heaven like experience and I miss it.
Cheers!
Thank you, I really appreciate what you did and how quickly!! ❤️❤️ Now I have time to watch...
Enjoy!
@GrowlerJams I will, no doubt! 😊 Nothing can replace your captions. Thanks for a million times, I love your captions and I appreciate highly that you're willing to use your time and do them!!! ❤❤❤
I'm not a tanker pilot, (my son Alex is though), but I'd say the main difference in manipulating controls while in contact with a tanker is that your'e in formation. That mindset requires smooth, steady and precise yoke and throttle movement to enable a safe platform for the receiver. This will reduce his workload and keep inputs more predictable, and controlled and smooth.
Very professional, very impressed 👍
Pail: one of your best. Great camera and commentary. Thanks 🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it!
Best of both world

A 'Rainbow Flag' on your Helmut?
My Nightmare Battling Turbulence For Precious Fuel kzread.info/dash/bejne/fHiItM9_aLO2l7w.html Watch this. I discuss helmet art.
I was a helo aircrewman on RH-53ds and we came onboard ike like a jet once when we had an emergency landing due to a rotor head issue.
TYFYS.
How did you get the call sign Pail?
See the community tab from DEC 22.
Are pilots also a directors/marshals when they are not flying?
No, just pilots.
Is this touch and go and is it the same pilot?
Yes and yes.
The narration and "Fly Navy" got my subscription
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Murica! 🇺🇸 (Awesome patch that triggers snowflake liberals)
Proud of our Navy and men in uniform. Great narration! I think this goes a long way in making the general public understand what you and others do on a daily basis. Service to our country is a privilege which many of our youth fail to see. Keep up the awesome work.
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
when was this filmed?
It’s in the description. 2017.
I get all hyped up when I think of my days way back then working at the civil airport. Can't imagine working on the deck of a carrier! SO FREAKING COOL
Murica! 🇺🇸
Nice video… Quick question: after reforming on the right observation point, how do you separate from the tanker? I heard initially getting a 1000 foot vertical clearance by descending in formation below the tanker and then go on with the mission…
We always exit above the tanker, then turn on course.
So educational! Thank you for your service!🇺🇸🙏🏻
Amazing !!
Hope they rain-x!
😂
I get a kick out of seeing the mirrors. With all the hi-tech it cool to see the low-tech. I worked on F-16s so there were no mirrors.
Pail, with the overhead break you maintain 300kts at 1500' ?
Depends on location. At Whidbey Island, yes.
Pail, you have gotta be the coolest pilot. You make us all feel like we are there, strapped in and pullin' G's! Having a beer with you would be really awesome.
What a great channel! Your Dad is a legend and you will be one day!
How did I miss this one! Pure genius! You sure you wanna fly heavies? Heli's might be a better career choice?
