One thing about Peter that I really liked was his guitar playing. It wasnt the typical call and response blues rock licks that everybody else was doing at the time. He was melodic in his approach and took it to a new degree. It was great playing.

I think I was there if that was the Day On Green with Fleetwood Mac. I had been a fan of Frampton's since Wind Of Change and I loved Frampton's Camel. I remember seeing him in Humble Pie. He certainly blew up fast!

I don't know why he became so big, basically because of one song Show Me the Way, he really was mediocre in the UK but America sometimes goes mad. Wings had started to become stale & was this like Herman Hermits became a substitute for Beatles. Herman Hermits! Frampton was a member of the Herd late 60s, a couple of hits. As said, mediocre.
