Great video! Would this reel (or the new 10000 PRO version) pair well with a 10ft carp rod?
Thank for you for kind words. I use these on my 10ft Xtractors even to this day! They are perfect for it. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Mine cost £19.99 from Aldi - they are "Waterproof" (Like it says on the side decals) 2 or 3 years guarantee AND, I got to try them on first !! Take a Photo' of the Till Receipt asap, as the printer Ink they use, soon fades into a Useless, Blank piece of paper for guarantee purposes. Maybe do a bit more research before posting on YT buddy ??
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
The pva products from temu are good. Braided mainline also from temu.
Thanks for sharing fella 🙌🏻
ten quid
Funnily enough I saw them earlier today for £12 so the price definitely fluctuates so well worth keeping an eye out for it
Don’t forget if you buy these your catch more carp
If Trakker,Nash,Fox etc brought out a camo three piece suit some idiots would buy it.
Table for 2 on the bank, 3 piece suit - priceless 😂. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Idiots with means apparently. But hey you keep whining about others do with their hard earned cash, that's healthy
£20 quid mate!

Film is Short Circuit Johny Five is alive
@@selseyball yes mate! I actually showed short circuit to my kids a few weeks back. I absolutely loved that film growing up! 🤖
Well done pal
@@AaronsAnglingJourney thanks Aaron. How you doing mate?
Nice session Ross. Not sure what is up with your bite alarms though??
@@michaeljarvis9052 yeah got mugged off a few times! Good job I was watching the rods 👀
Where’s the rp1 pod? Thought u would be on that
The best pod around! 🙌🏻 it’s a long story with that one. Thanks for watching mate
@@Operationcarp some nice fish on the bank👍my carp van is shagged power steering has gone fortune to replace the pump and hoses not been out this year yet getting my fix on utube gagging to use all my jag stuff I brought over the winter I couldn’t get hold of the rp1 got the nano pod instead
@@garythwilliams8732ah man sorry to hear that. Yeah all Jag stuff I’ve ever used it absolute Top notch. Hope you manage to get back out soon mate. 🎣
I brought one in November from total tackle just seen this review today I ordered the plain green standard but got this the cameo delux result I got round the handle issue by using electrical tape wrapped round the ends a few times works a treat no more wobbles
@@garythwilliams8732 top tip there thank you for sharing for everyone! 🙌🏻
@@Operationcarp to b fair the handles are to low for me it’s a great barrow tho but u can get after market handles that sit higher now for it
Reminds me of the NI patrol pack!
@@Hew.Jarsol 🙌🏻 new video live at 7pm tonight btw
Love these reels use the with korda 15lb touchdown and 12 ft 3.25 rods
Nice mate. Yeah I’m still using them regularly. Seem very robust
Brill wacth mate well done
Thanks mate. Really appreciate you watching and glad you enjoyed it 😀
Thanks mate 🎉
Nice one bud! 💪
Thanks ✌
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Will take a while the for algorithms to kick back in and let people know videos are back in full swing!
Awesome mate, glad to see you back!
I have mine but need some help. Filled up with monofil mainline. The upper part of the reel is almost empty while the lower part is full of the mainline. What is wrong?
So in the box mate there should be some little rubbers. You may need to take off the spool and try add some to balance it. Or remove some if already on there. I expect there’s videos on KZread about how to get your line even on a. Fishing reel. Haven’t had the issue myself I’m afraid. If that doesn’t sort it they might need to go back to manufacturer
very helpful
Thank you I’m glad it helped you 😀
I like your reviews,I was after one of these but always out of stock Everywhere I tried I ended up buying the pro lite sticks and 2+1 bars but now jag have released just the base units at half the cost of the complete set up,if costs an option this is a great alternative, don’t mind forking out on jag prices as you know it’s quality and will last a lifetime looked after right
Thanks for the feedback Gary. Yeah Jag kit is always decent and will last a lifetime like you said mate. I’ve found often when I’ve bought cheaper stuff I’ve often ended up having to replace it.
had mine 2015 heavily used and abused by river grime in the states still work great
Thanks for sharing mate. I still use these reels for loads of my fishing. Built to last 👍🏻
@@Operationcarp I’m on the water right now with them haha
Hi, I bought one of these but no instructions. Only question is that the foot section had a nut and bolt with 4 washers. What is correct way to fit washers, 2 on outside by bolt the 2 nut side, or do you place 1 each side of where internal frame sits? Thanks
I will be back to look at my barrow tomorrow as see if I can work it out for you mate and will let you know if I can
460 фунтов стерлингов.... За полкило металлических трубок...
Thanks for watching
I had one of these and really liked it. Some of the Fox modular luggage will fit like a glove into the main bag. And can easily be accessed from the side opening... I made the mistake of keeping bags of bait/pellet in the mesh paniers on one trip. And the resident mice made short work of the mesh... Regarding the tyre. I had no problems with mine over 18 months of use. But you can get a can of the foam spray stuff that you use on a car tyre. Which will help make the barrow tyre more robust... Good honest review though... I thought the inclusion of the barrow cover was a nice touch by Fox..
Thanks for sharing all this as people will find it very helpful and thanks for watching 🙌🏻
I had a pair of fox fs 7000 reels, worst reels I've ever owned so sold them after a year and bought shimanos which never give me any trouble.
Can’t go wrong with some Shimmys! Thanks for sharing
Good rigs them
Yep they get the job done. Thanks for watching
I bought the identical bivvy light yesterday But it is by Lidster are lidster the new owners of this light now
No mate Sunblesa still going and trading under that name. Wonder if it’s a product that a few companies buy then just brand it then?
Are they good for carp
Yes mate I use them for most my carp fishing. It would depend how big the lake is as they aren’t big pit reels but more than enough for most peoples fishing
@@Operationcarp like im fishing about 100meters far so its enough?
@@vakar88s yes it would be able to do that. Casting would be easier with big pit reel due to the line coming off easier but aslong as you can cast that distance easily you will be fine 👍🏻
I got the combi, wish i just got it for rigs.
I still use this every session now. Thanks for watching
What's the difference between this and the tackle box and the collection ?
The collection you get all the smaller boxes that go inside- the one that’s just the tackle box you won’t get them.
Nor do you get the leader safe when just buying the box
So I bought one of these and set it up as a pre-use test in the garden to sit through a not particularly heavy rainstorm overnight. In the morning it was just soaking wet on the underside and on the ground underneath. Probably the stitching was at fault but honestly - just a joke product. Got immediately refunded with no quibbles ( perhaps they weren’t surprised.) Then I see glowing reviews like this and I think WTF?
That’s a shame. One of our team - Slocs, still uses this same one I bought to this day. We were out in torrential rain last week in it and he stayed dry as a bone. 🦴
What does it mean when the numbers on the hook rig setups I have a rod 10ft which is 3lb fox .wot would be best hook size .new to all this guys
Hi Paul, the numbers are the size of the hooks. I use 10ft rod with 3.25test curve for a lot of my fishing. If your going for carp it depends on size of the fish on the lake you are going but most lakes you can’t go wrong with a size 6 hook and that will catch carp of various sizes. I hope that helps. Ross
Awesome solid bit of kit.
Yeah still use it now mate
I have used the hair rigs in size 8 . To be honest , they were quite good . Used with a 14mm boilie. Nice and sharp but needed a quick honing throughout the session.
Thanks for watching and sharing 🙌🏻
I just got these not used them yet but hopefully ill be on the bank soon ,tight lines
Nice mate hope they do you well
@@Operationcarp caught multiple species so far barbel carp tench
Not first..!😂 Thanks for this great indepth review! I'm convinced!
Your welcome thank you for taking the time to watch
The fox bungee straps that comes with it absolute shit
I chose these over the Gizmos. SKS 3+1 brilliant
Yes mate proper bargain. Have you seen the new gizmo mark 2 coming out imminently also. The Sks are definitely one of the best bargains out there
Do these umbrellas have taped seems...?
Ye. Thanks for watching
Why the music???

A few years on now and this review is really very good, thanks very much for taking the time to make it, its an expensive system and its great to see someone remove all the bits and bats so we can see how it all fits together.
Your very welcome buddy. I still use this to this day. I will probably do an updated video for it at some point as there’s a couple of bits I feel could be improved but it is by far one of the best bits of kit I have ever bought. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment it’s greatly appreciated
@@Operationcarp I won't lie I am torn between this and the fox edges system, but I just wonder if the latter really is 20 quid better so an update on this one would be really useful if you have the time
Korum do a good one, pretty much the same
Cool thanks for sharing Ryan
Ive got this bag. It's fantastic. Ive got the 90 litre too, but that is massive. Far too big to practically use as a rucksack. This 40 litre is perfect I get everything in there. The material and zips are good quality and it's comfortable and allows quite a lot of strap adjustments etc so you can get the fit just right for you. The Speero tackle pouch (which is brilliant too) fits perfect in that big front pocket. You're not going to find a better fishing rucksack than this. Im really pleased I bought it. I bought mine direct from Saber, who do have really good customer service. Would highly recommend.
Thanks for watching and sharing
Is pure cotton or poly cotton?
I’m not sure tbh as can’t read the label anymore
Do you know the weight of the headtorch?
Sorry mate I don’t but the info must be available online on their website I would expect
Can you lower that one straight to the ground? May consider picking up one as a shelter to sleep under
It doesn’t have a tilt option but yeah you can make it lower than this
Hi would you know if that Korda tackle box would fit in that top pocket where you have the bunj cords ? Thank you
Hi Deri, no it doesn’t fit in there I’m afraid
Handles where poor in my opinion. Swapped mine out for a braced pair from a carp porter mk2. So much better, no flex what so ever making controlli g the barrow so much easier.
Thanks for sharing Dan. I definitely think it’s because of the screw coming in from the corner. Definitely not great handles
