Are you looking for a low budget but high quality fishing umbrella? Well this might be what you are looking for!
This video is my honest review of the Michigan fishing umbrella available from amazon. They offer a variety of different sizes as explained in the video. This video is focusing on the budget end of umbrellas not the expensive large ones made to fit in whole bed chairs.
I have not been paid or provided free good for this video but decided to give a review of the umbrella after having used it for the last year or so.
This video is dedicated to one of my followers 'Alan' whom appears to have taken the time to watch and comment on most my videos so far.
I would like to also take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you whom have spent any of your precious time watching my videos. I genuinely just really enjoy making them and having people watch them and comment how it has helped them spurs me on.

I use Michigan bite alarms….. they are cheap as chips and do what the say on the box. Great value.

@@Operationcarp It was one from king carp can't remember why I went for that one now it's without the sides but a good big strudy brolly but the Michigan looks good for the money didn't really want the sides as l have something else as well just wanted a brolly l think the sides look good on the Michigan but there you go Cheers again mate look forward to more videos

@@alanmeasures8337 one of the one issues with the sides on this one is that you have to have it fairly low for them to be able to touch the floor

Got the same one got mine for £20 off Amazon, but once I took sides of from winter to.summer the sides would not go bk on pegs rip up easy coz of there shape so I bought propper pegs for £5 Amazon, still use the umbrella good quality

Thanks for sharing bob. The pegs it comes with are very flimsy so I bought better ones to use with it too

Great video. Could you do another one on Fishing Trolleys ? So many out there and some at ridiculous prices. For me anyway. I have arthritis so i need one.

Hi Mark, are you looking at trolleys as opposed to barrows? Are you after a 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler?

Great video. However, I'm curious about those waders you have on. I'm after a pair to try salmon fishing. It could well be a one-off & definitely an occasion thing so I don't want to spend much. I know those are budget priced, but are you happy with them & do they fit bigger/smaller/as expected? Best wishes.

Hi Jon, for the money (I think I got them for about £17 at the time) the waders are absolutely fine and do the job. Haven’t had any leaks. The fit is as expected standing but slightly tighter than expected sitting. I would suggest going a size bigger to give the extra bit of room overall. They would be fine for salmon fishing I would suggest

Hi Givi, I don’t have access to the umbrella to weigh it atm I’m afraid as leant it to a friend. It’s not heavy at all thou. Prob 2-3kg absolute max
Which size is the one you are demonstrating in your video? Well put together review 👍

It doesn’t have a tilt option but yeah you can make it lower than this

It's a big umbrella on a small fish
So I bought one of these and set it up as a pre-use test in the garden to sit through a not particularly heavy rainstorm overnight. In the morning it was just soaking wet on the underside and on the ground underneath. Probably the stitching was at fault but honestly - just a joke product. Got immediately refunded with no quibbles ( perhaps they weren’t surprised.) Then I see glowing reviews like this and I think WTF?

That’s a shame. One of our team - Slocs, still uses this same one I bought to this day. We were out in torrential rain last week in it and he stayed dry as a bone. 🦴
Do these umbrellas have taped seems...?
