    People often say that Honda's make the best engine, but why? Is there a way we could do a Honda vs Loncin engine comparison? Great video! Very helpful! Thank you!

    I think Indian is making fantastic bikes. Remote locking bags I for sure wish my Harley had. The Springfield has a couple more HP and TQ than my RKS…ohhh big deal. Call that a tie. Not going to be noticed on the road. That said, especially with Harley’s new redesigned models, I think to say Indian is just a slam dunk winner and so far ahead is just not true. Either by choice or being forced by EPA Harley will make an all liquid cooled big cruiser soon and then the challenger isn’t the slam dunk there either. I would by one of the new scouts before a sportster. Indian is kicking ass in that mid-small cruiser range. Looks are subjective and for the most part IMO Harley’s look better. Gap is closed, prices are about the same. Indian is no longer the slam dunk and it’s on them to come up with something for this next model rollout in August or whenever.

    Hi from England great video, very detailed review, I'm seriously considering the 101, my issue is that I have the Rouge which is totally blacked out, black tank, black mug guards etc, I just wish there was this option with the 101, or I guess I could buy the Sport and add the extras, what's your thoughts...

    "...it does get a LOT MORE character vibration going through it...." would you say that's a bad thing? I'm looking to buy one, idk why, as I am well aware the company went under, i think the price point on this particular bike has my attention (even if it only lasted three seasons, for 4 grand who cares. get the feel of a big strong bike with very little loss should something go wrong.)

    That just looks so awful , i always liked a Moto Guzzi but i want to just get on a bike start it and ride it using the dashboard info that would help me to stay efficient and on the right side of the law , i’m not a fighter pilot and i don’t want to spend 20 minutes reading a hand book so that i could get it ready to go, i have launched smart phones from car windows and one from a 10th floor balcony and another into a river im pretty sure after ten minutes of trying to get on and ride away i would probably drop it on its side and walk away from it, why is the world so obsessed with digital screen technology , needles dials and switches are my thing and that is just a simple way to bugger up a nice bike

    I like the old heritage better. It’s more than just the looks change. The old ones are more comfortable and planted on the highway to me. The new ones corner better and are stiffer. For cruising in comfort and touring I think the old heritage is better. The new one felt smaller and more cramped to me. So I bought a 2016 heritage with 9k miles on it instead of a new 2024. I had the money to buy a new one but just didn’t like it much. The 2016 was perfect!

    Indian has some nice color combos. I think I like this particular Scout over the 101. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the digital gauge. I'm a analog man. Other than that it's a beautiful ride.

    Great thoughts and perspective. I watched Bikes I Like, and he has a Chief, he said he might actually have gone for the Scout 101 if it was available at the same time as his Chief. North of 6'2", I think this would actually fit me better than the Chief as well. This thing is tempting for sure! I think I'll hang on to my Bonneville for a while yet though :)

  • @BigTimeRushFan2112
    @BigTimeRushFan211212 күн бұрын

    @@KenOtwell I'd love to have the 101's brakes on my Twenty. Since I ride mostly short rides, the softer suspension isn't something I'd need. If I commuted or rode out of state on it, then yeah, I'd want that too, and that would be the reason why I let go of looks over better handling and ride quality...till then, I love the old school cool look of my Twenty over anything else in the Indian line up.

    About the buffeting, I’m 70” with 32” inseam, I have the Guardia version with the taller windscreen and get zero buffeting. Living in California and driving freeway speeds too. I use an Arai helmet which could also make a difference. This was one of the main reasons I chose this bike was because of no buffeting. Sounds like a simple fix depending on your stature.

    Depending on your height on the bike as long as your legs hit the ground it's pretty good, but top heavy if your legs don't provide enough leverage. On the ground it's really easy to move around and get on it's center stand and such.

    Tuen signals will auto cancel if you wait a full 45 seconds... Seem like an eternity. Mine? 2022 Guardia w/ Urban bags (black n Silver). Decated w heated grips. Love it. Second Gizzi. Former H D former Yamaha former Kawa triple. Guzzi's are my Fav. So all around balance. Great brakes, Great torque. Great cruising at 85 to 90. AND Not everyone has one. Ps. Valve adjust takes 1.5 hrs and is easy.

    I bought a Pursuit last fall. I live in an area with alot of curvy roads, and I can tell ya the Pursuit is like a large comfortable sportbike. I'm not saying it will outrun or outlean crotch rocket race bikes. I mean it has outstanding handling and is so flickable on roads like The Dragon, The Snake, Moonshiner 28, and other twisty roads.
