You ever get this running right? I've got an 1100g that I fought with when I first bought it only to find out that the jets in the carb was completely incompatible with pod filters and a vance and hines exhaust. It ran really well after rebuilding the carbs. I'm in the process of buiding the frame for my super cafe build and will be running the entire bike from a central locking and remote start system.

REALLY enjoy your content. Inspiring. This may be “late”, but I think that there is a ‘market’ for the headlight mounting assembly that your brother produced. Perhaps not hundreds, but I’m certain that there are a good many (like Myself) who would be Interested ! I’m only guessing, but I imagine that making a couple of dimensional tweaks could create a pretty universal fitting set. Happy to discuss directly, if he’d consider making some. Anyway, thanks for the content !

I can see in your video, there are three slots around the upper race. Put a chisel in there at an angle and break the outer race in pieces.

Ugh, that straight drop in of the GSXR front end makes me jealous. I had to do some work to make my 3rd gen SV work with a '97 GSXR750 front end. Great vid though.

Hey, how has the paint held up? Thinking of doing the same. Also, did you have to sand all the original paint out or did the metallic spray stick well into the original paint? Thanks

paint is holding up well, a little bit of rust that was in one of the cracks seems to be bubbling up so should have sandblasted first i think
