My name is Brian. In 2014 I moved into a self converted camper van. A year later I hit the road to pursue seasonal work around the U.S. and enjoy as much time camping in nature along the way. I am currently in a 2010 GMC 10 foot box van that I build as a camper. Join me on my adventures!

I lived at Las Pleas north for 5 months and I loved it.I'm 71 and it was great.
Hey Brian and Kelly, I watched the video of the Van meet up in Oregon over 6 years ago. I hope all is well with you guys and Hobbs
Really appreciate your camera set up! It helps all of us trying to make good videos. Thanks!
Another great video! Always love the cooking and eating. That’s what camping is all about for us that can’t go camping that often. God bless love from Colorado.
Awesome concept video. Really liked the "here we are where we started" part. Only thing missing was Hobbes. Guess he was with Kelly that night. Thanks for sharing. And yes, your videos are relaxing!
I've been away from the net and catching up on your videos. Coincidentally, I asked a few questions a couple of videos ago about your editing software, etc., and then I see this video, and it's as though you read my mind in advance. Thanks for doing that! I am still interested in the question about your choice of 1080p resolution. Are you running into significant barriers to go to 4K? I know that I am. And I'm wondering whether I should even care, since your 1080p videos look fabulous. Thanks for sharing all this tech info--VERY interesting to me.
Loved the slo-mo hummingbird footage. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! Will try this for my shower in my Ambulance.
I can't believe that the hermit was murdered. ☹ Why would anyone do that? Surely he couldn't have been doing any harm to anyone.
Looks like a beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing!
Some solid advise, if you treat people nice you get treated the same, if you want to be alone that is also possible.
Fantastic video overall. Really loved the opening sequence with the time lapse. Sorry to hear about the local crime. People are people. What can you do?
Born & lived in oly till i was 12. we used to picnic at the falls as a kid and watch fish going up the fish ladder! 2 of my dads brothers worked and retired from the Oly brewery! Now i live out on the coast at Westport and drive Hwy 8 to Olympia couple times a month. this is my home country! very nice!!! no hussle & bussle out here!
Hello Brian! Excellent video as always. Do you mind sharing what video software you use? It looks as though you've stuck with 1080, which looks great on my screen. Many folks have gone to 4K, and when I tried to follow suit (using Davinci), I found the storage and processing burden to be huge. My laptop just balked. My desktop can handle it, but I hate to be tied to that. I may just abandon my 4K ambitions and go back to 1080, so I can use a simple laptop and minimal storage. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
You might’ve been doing some chores but it still looked like a fantastic day of camping!
11:51-min. Thanks 4 Those 5☆ Camera/ Vid & That Tip On MotorcycLe One, i'm StilL PLanning a Return to Riding a Good Camera iS a Must Nowadays, as i' Been 61 Age OLd Lol, for 15 + Hours Lol
Looking great
La Grande is cool... I spend a good deal of time there.
I've lived in AZ for 27 years now. It's cold in the winter! No snow, but it's cold! During the day it might be warm, could get up to 70. As soon as the sun goes now, boom the temp drops 10 degrees in 15 minutes & then in an hour another 15 degrees. So it can go from 70 to 40 in an hour & half! I want to move to Florida! The AZ cold is different! During the day shorts & a tee shirt, after the sun goes down you're looking for a parka!
The torch work on the cabinets looks as good as the cooking going on in there. 😄👍
It's good to see someone release the tension properly.
Happy trails Brian!
Try playing drums and singing at 7300 elevation 😮
You were 10 mins from where my dad lives, you should’ve gone to the hot springs! It’s right next to the rio grande river! Riverbend hot springs😊😊😊
Thanks for the tip! I can't do hot springs due to allergic reaction. 🥲
@@AdventureVanMan aww darn! 😫😭
Absolutely beautiful
If I wanted the comforts of home, I would have stayed at home.
Some of us don't even have a home!🤣👍🏼
Man, that rice and chicken looked amazing. So delicious. We're heading to Virginia City here pretty soon.
I want a spreader!
Hey Brian, which pans did you go with? Have a link for them?
❤
Careful with steel utensils on the new frying 🍳 pan. 👍🏻🥺
Steel on steel. 👍🏼

I really enjoyed this video ty for sharing your day with us. Hobbs is such a good boy.
I've been looking for a cast iron replacement like you did. Please let us know the name and where you got it. I tried to understand the name as you mentioned it but would like to know the spelling. Thanks. What a gorgeous place to camp.
I think it's Merten&Storck.
@@AdventureVanMan TX - ordered one. Also I reserved Guns, Germs and Steel at our library. Looks interesting.
I have the iPhone 13 Pro as well and have had no issues with the DJI mics and the lightning adapter with any of our videos. I wonder if you just have a defective connector? Or maybe the port on the phone. Have you tried the mic on someone else's iPhone? Very strange, it does such a wonderful job for us.
It's a known issue with DJI. More than a few with same issue on DJI forum. There are different manufacture runs on iPhones. I had the port replaced already with no avail. DJI advises buying a new phone.
@@AdventureVanMan That's a bummer, I guess I got lucky. By the way, I got the DJI Mic2 and it connects wirelessly to my iPhone-works great and not too expensive for just a transmitter. (I got mine with the DJI Pocket 3, but bought a second one for the iPhone.)
@travelswithtrigger yeah, mine is V1....apparently the issue has been resolved with the V2.
@@AdventureVanMan Just to clarify, the mic 1 works with my phone, I used it for over a year until 2 months ago when I got the pocket 3 which came with mic2. It connect wirelessly to the iPhone.
@@AdventureVanMan you don't need the receiving unit to use mic2 with your phone, just the transmitter/mic!
I lived in this area for a short time. The winds come most afternoons around 2pm. If you ever get out this way again, you've got to visit Sumpter, Granite and Cabel City.
Hi Brian..will you be doing any summer jobs this summer?
Very possible.
Two seconds of Kelly is never enough ! Also some of your guitar virtuoso closing was appreciated IMHO.
ranch style beans and ro-tel, 2 awesome pantry staples to come out of texas.
Yo Brotha Brian, I'm kinda shocked that you never tried those Ranch Style Beans before. I was brought up on this. When I seen the can on your vid it INSTANTLY took me back to my childhood. lolol.
Ha, right on! 🤙🏼
This is an interesting book I read in my Economic history course years ago
Brian what brand is Hobbs shoes? Looks like it fits him well and he s comfortable walking. I am shopping shoes for my fur baby. Thanks
QUMYPET
@@AdventureVanMan thank u, appreciate d response
