Or a firebird. Gary played a Lester or SG. Ed King mostly Strat. Steve Gaines LP or Strat.

I bought myself this guitar for my birthday last October, I already have a G&L strat and a Fender American Standard telecaster that are 20 years old. This LP Special is almost as good, I would rate it better than a MIM Fender costing 800.00 dollars.

How do the frets feel? I know they are rolled, but does it feel pretty nice? Also, those pickups sound a little more rock and roll and a little less vintage. How do you think the pickups compare to say the 40th Squire vintage edition Jazzmaster?

Man I'm undecided about the Prophecy and the black and white Epiphone Explorer. I play death metal like at the gates... what to choose? I need a fat, powerful sound with devastating lows and highs.
