    Wait, where is the water bottle holder for the hydrangea? The water foam never lasts for hydrangeas; at least in Texas. You are so lucky we have to use water bottle capsules.

    If i picked a flower bud from plant. I want this bud bloom quickly. In this situation the crown and glory used to make the buds bloom quickly or not christine?

    @@sasmitaharshadha1209 ah i see, I would use "Quick dip", its designed to help make your flowers bloom at a FASTER rate. You would dip the ends of the stems in the dip for 2 seconds and then transfer the flowers to water and they will bloom very fast. However this does not come in spray form, only liquid a.co/d/04NusmgO

    How much baby breath would you say you would need for 22 of these ? And roses, of course.

  • @Flowersbyalexis
    @FlowersbyalexisАй бұрын

    WELL,… it takes 1/4 bunch of baby’s breath to make one crown, 2 stems of spray roses for each crown. I would get 6 bunches of baby’s breath and 5 bunches of spray roses and that should be enough 👍🏽

    Hi, Loved the video so much - Very helpful 💓 small question, do you think as a florist beginner, I can do a wedding event on my own or would I definitely would need an assistance?

  • @Flowersbyalexis
    @FlowersbyalexisАй бұрын

    Hi there! I think you could do a SMALL wedding on your own. For set up however I always like to bring one other person with me, I usually bring my sister. It’s good to have a extra set of hands on set up days. By small wedding I mean: a bridal bouquets, couple bridesmaids, some bouts and maybe a few centerpieces. Once you start doing more than 10 centerpieces then that’s when things get busy and you will need help. The smaller, the better lol

    Hydrate the top by soaking it in floral water. When you've determined the stem length, dip the stem(crosscut 1st!) and dip in a spice called alum. It stops air going to the head, which is whatmakes it droop.

    What about floral arrangements that are in water or that are in a wet foam?

  • @Flowersbyalexis
    @FlowersbyalexisАй бұрын

    Hi there, for arrangements in water I use the finishing touch floral spray. For arrangements in foam I use crowning glory. The finishing touch allows flowers to continue to drink water. The crowning glory is good for flowers that aren’t getting a lot of water like foam arrangements or corsages/bouts
