that's another problem. I had it too... maybe switch in trunk not engaged all the way. you may need to manually crank it, maybe your cables are jacked up, maybe motor, not sure, but search up mini convertible top repair. I wish I could help you more. good luck!!

You miss the point entirely. How many of your friends jump in and roll sushi for the first time? This is a training wheel that gives confidence and insures success from roll number one. After a few tries, most can elaborate their skills, but this tool may just be the “drawer filler” that lets someone try instead of pass up an opportunity. Thanks for your comment. Cheers!

At 3:00 EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THIS, PLEASE PIN THIS. I got 2 of them in my package, 1 is for the UK market because their wheel is on the other side and the other one is for left hand drive, I STRUGGLED 1 HOUR BEFORE I FIGURED THIS OUT AND KEPT USING THE UK ONE!!!

Great video, I bought a used one and it had upgraded servos. Worked great till I got in a bind and applied too much throttle. Bent a front drive pin and when I straightened it out and put it back together I heard the clicking sound that usualy means stripped gears. I found this video and went in expecting to find a worn pinion but found broken plastic gears, the pinion was not worn at all. I guess you never know for sure. I ordered steel gears from Redcat and extra pinions.

Thank you so much! This video saved me money and a headache. One tip for others from my own experience. Take the entire lock apart, clean it and grease it. 1. you might as well since you already replacing the hardware. 2. it was fun and I got to learn how the lock functions completely. 3. it was easier to put in the replacement parts (for some reason they were hard to fit and I realized it was because there was just so much gunk and grime there)

sure, I imagine this forms the rice well enough with the compression to make it hold shape pretty well. Be sure to use traditional sushi rice that gets sticky. good luck!

Have you tried to reprogram your remote? I have a video on battery replacement and programming too if that helps.

@robdude1969 thank you! I managed to reprogram my key and this fixed it! :D mine is a convertible so I just had to hold it over my shoulder to get it to work!

Hello genius! Congratulations on that work, although with some mishaps, but it worked! I'm about to do the same thing on a 2008 x3 that is blowing smoke and I discovered that blue coolant is clearly visible in the hole of spark plug 4, the other spark plugs come out dry, is it necessary to remove the thermostat? And if I take it out, how do I deal with the holes that join the water pump? I'm sorry for asking so much but I'm researching elsewhere and I can't find any information. My e46 thermostat is built into the housing, it cannot be removed separately. I am guessing your engine isn't much different from mine.
What caused this in the first place... a bad water pump, leaking radiator, bad thermostat etc. ???
The e46 is notorious for having issues with overheating. If any part of the cooling system fails from a leaking o-ring or a crack in the plastic, coolant levels may drop and engine temps can climb above normal. If you don't let the engine cool, the head may warp slightly or even crack. The coolant channels are very close to the cylinders and the gap formed by a failure can let coolant and exhaust mix. Telltale signs are rough starts, white smoke from moisture, smell of burning coolant. Check Engine light may come on and a OBD2 reader will give you misfire codes.
