I called this channel Jenny's 2 Pennies because I'm giving you my two cents worth of stuff. It's my hope that two cents here and two cents there will add up to be something meaningful for your walk with God and your navigation through this life.
I'm with you lady! I drive a stick too. It's a six speed Honda. I really enjoy "interacting" with the car. For me, it makes driving a more enjoyable experience than an automatic. Yes, I'm old - 66!

As I was growing up I had a old 66 chevy truck that sometimes you had to push start and now I was born in 66 and now have to push start myself just to get out of bed😅

My mother is 81 and still drives a manual Toyota truck, every day. Brother and I grew up on manual vehicles. Dad had a “three on the tree” column shift Dodge truck. I currently own a manual Jeep Gladiator. Good times!

When you pop the clutch don’t use first gear. It’s easier to use second gear. Once you get the engine to turn over and start push the clutch back in.

I had a "puah start" car from the 60's. Even the gears were push button. So they are not really new. I also had an MGA sports car my brother let me drive. It started by pushing it down the hill, jump in and pop the clutch. Ahhh. Good times.

I’ve seen where some younger gen’s can’t figure out how to use a rotary-dial telephone! “Times - they are a’changing” (and for the most part, probably for the better… my BIL keeps telling me to take off my rose-colored glasses). 🙃
