This channel is where I post vids of things I'm doing, have done, or am interested in. Such as random house work, product reviews, or Toyota 4Runner-related activities.
I love the realness of this video. Reminds me of the videos we used to make as kids before cell phones. Old school! 😝

The little thin flap that pops back up when you pull the screen does not want to pop back up anymore. I wonder if there was a spring or something that I didn't see/hear fall out and got vacuumed up. For now it is just laying down and when I pull the screen it continues to just lay there hanging down the front edge of the vent. Oh well.

I have a similar setup in my dryer. Anyone else have issues with the dryer being a little dusty throughout the house? Not sure if it's an issue with the dryer or whether I need to see if there's a leak in the exhaust ducting.

It was a good video and if a person has basic ability it makes sense. The only complaint is you omitted discussing the two connectors that attach to the metal moisture sensor.

Dads are cool! I have a brand new LG Tower for 2023. I think I should share what I have learned with the clogging of the lint filter. First, if you use fabric softener sheets and basically who doesn't...just stop it. They block the lint filter screen and wreak havoc on your venting system. As usual I learned the hard way. Two days I worked on cleaning my dryer, I do all my own stuff 'cause the caliber of people you bring into your home for repairs of any kind are just awful. Finally had plugs of lint blow out of the vent. Love the fire hazard. If you don't wash, yes wash your lint filter it becomes clogged quickly and I noticed a reduction in air in the exterior vent and I was like, what the heck is going on? I ignored it until it became a problem because that's how I roll, son. I figured because I took a toothbrush to the lint filter every time I used it I was good. Not so, must be washed with fairly warm water and I scrubbed it with my toothbrush again. After washing the lint filter is when there was enough air force to move the highly flammable lint out of my aluminum vent. I have come to the conclusion that dryer sheets are a hazard to your children's safety by altering the fire retardant chemical on their clothing esp. baby clothes and posing a fire risk in the dryer. Remember manufacturers are not selling things to make your life easier, they're selling things to make money. I'm done, no more dryer sheets. They have those balls they sell but heck I'll buy some tennis balls to interrupt the ions that make static. I think that's what they are that produce static. Ions. Yeah, sounds about right. Maybe. Good luck. Don't use fabric softener sheets. I lived without them for twenty years growing up, ok so the back of my dress used to stick to my hips, I didn't see it so I thought I looked cute.

I'm thinking it will rust immediately without some kind of coating. How are you going to make sure it does not rust?
@davedoesstuff99752 жыл бұрын
Yes, good point! The last step is to dip it in vinegar for 20 or so minutes, which will give it a patina to prevent rusting.
