hey, I have some question and I'll be happy if I can get answers form different people. i am just learning environmental modelling in maya, and I am also learning some sculpting stuffs in zbrush for characters. Now seeing this Unreal Engine software being used for environments, can we also model in it? or is it just for placing the objects to different positions? for example, in this video above, where do they get assets from? am i limited to only work with the provided assets only?

This is not level design, it's"environmental art"... stop calling it what it isn't.

Important: This has virtually nothing to do with level design! However, it's a lovely composition and overall really nicely implemented :)

I know, this video is older now, but I lost my dear friend last year - 22 years my cat stayed with me, I basically grew up with him. The crater that such a loss leaves will never fill up - but around it a new and beautiful garden will grow. Great video.

I really want to get a rig and start making environments in UE5. I have an idea called "My vision of Heaven", in which I would love to design a beautiful world inhabited by magical creatures and angels, with every frame fit to be a painting. Imagine lush gardens filled with beautiful and colorful birds and butterflies, flowers, vines, bushes, and beautiful ancient greek architecture in white marble. Imagine fountains with colorful fish, beautiful stone verandas and gazebos with little bands of musicians playing gentle strings and metallic percussion. I imagine tables with wonderful looking feasts, beautiful flowing tapestries with wonderous scenes depicted on them, stone walls and statues peppered throughout the scene. Imagine a game where you just hang out and explore a beautiful set, meeting characters who are just happy to see you.
