Great video. I lasted 5 years as an RD in the UK. Inpatients. The lack of respect from other health care professionals and patients, coupled with the emotional fatigue and overall monotony of the day to day work, made me leave the profession. Lastly, working as the only male in a department of 20+ females became an issue over time... the cattiness and bitching from my colleagues was unbearable 😅

Congrats!! We also got ours during the 0.99 and loving it. When it comes to Lane changes during fsd, I prefer to have minimal lane changes so I choose "Minimal Lane Changes" button in the fsd mini menu. The mini menu pops up if you press left/right on the right thumb wheel (this switches between chill/average/aggressive fsd modes). You have to toggle this every new drive cuz it doesn't save. I personally like using fsd when I can find a lane to camp for most of the drive, then use Minimal lane change to get me most of the way. Idk, makes me feel safer not having to worry about constant lanes changes 😅

lol compared to getting groceries, people overlook the fact that groceries dont have sales tax for food items in most of the USA. they could easily use a lot more olive oil instead of soybean/canola oil. imo you can also use like half the salt and have the same salty taste with a tiny bit of msg or maybe some kcl but most dont like the taste of kcl. i think the best move is to buy 18 meals and freeze all but 4/person per week. use BOA custom cash card and you get 3% back on "online shopping" which ironically tends to work with most online rent portals. cancel after the first order and they will send you another 50-60% off discount email after about a month

Hi Irene!! Great video and thank you so much for all of this information! I previously have an associates degree in an unrelated field (a.s in cardiovascular technology), and I took prereqs for nursing school (I have since changed my mind about nursing and don’t want to pursue it any further). I’ve noticed that those nursing prereqs can transfer over since dietetics also requires those same prereqs. I’m really hoping they do. I’m just wondering, if I have my associates in science degree, will it really take me the full 4 years to get a bachelor’s? I’ve already finished all of my general education classes. I’m hoping it will really cut down that time. I’m an older adult going back to school to change careers (I’m in my early 30s now) and thinking that it would take 4 years just to get a bachelor’s makes me so nervous. And then pursuing a master’s too. I’m looking at maybe 5-7 years of schooling! I only have my math requirement left and then I can actually transfer to a local university that has an accredited dietetics program.

Hi there! Loved your video, super informative and really did a well-rounded day in the life! I have a question for you! as someone who is considering a career as a RDN, once you became licensed, how did you start working in pediatrics? Once you are licensed, do you get to choose what type of patients you get to work with? such as pediatrics, geriatrics, etc. (eg. similar to how Physical Therapists can choose Sports & orthro. or pediatrics and such ?

The office environment is so essential in motivating someone to get work done as well as in making the working space fun and cozy to do adult work. I love the aesthetic you are shooting for its girly and cute (the floating flowers are so fun). I love anime so I love having office supplies that are anime inspired as well as a Sanrio progection lamp, andadorable LED string lights to give almost an arcade night feel. Makes adult work more fun for sure. Thank you for sharing :)

My main concern when it comes to the coursework is how many classes involving dissection would I need to take. The organs combined with the smell of formaldehyde is too much for me and I end up losing my appetite. Were a lot of dissections required in the classes you took to become a dietitian?
