The best instruction i've seen.very useful.thank you so much
Thank you very much!
thank you so much!
very informative.
I love the way you teach. You don’t just show how to do it but you explain what every bit of movement does, why we do it & its effect on the water. As a beginner I appreciate this. Please do more videos. Am having a hard time breathing on my side during freestyle. I also failed my treading with eggbeater kick test. Will take the class again and hope to pass with your coaching🙏 (mom from 🇨🇦)
Thank you very much for the kind words! We have a video coming out in this series that talks directly about how to breathe to the side in front crawl (freestyle). It should be out in a few weeks. Good luck with your eggbeater kick test! 😁😁
@@AaquaticsUK Can’t wait! Good luck will come if you do a video on treading with eggbeater kick😆🙏
Hi, I had total knee replacement on my both knees, I want to learn breast stroke. But because of total knee operation I can’t bend completely, to bring my legs near my bottom. I can bend only upto 90% . So do you think I can’t do breast stroke properly?
Best to follow your doctor’s advice. But from experience this won’t be a problem for you at all. Even with the limited range of motion, you will still be able to perform the leg action and it will help you to strengthen the associated muscles and tendons around the joint. I’d recommend trying it with the legs in isolation, perhaps buy yourself a pool noodle and pop it under your arms and try the leg action. I will film a video for you soon, to show different ways to practice all of these things in multiple ways. In the meantime best of luck, let us know how it goes! 👍 If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out.
This video has helped me a lot thank you soo much
Some coaches teach high elbow pull (fingers facing the floor of the pool) engaging lats instead of the pull you are showing. Can you please clarify which is better ?
This can cause excess rotation in the shoulder and cause drag when returning the hands to the neutral position. Better to not fight the water and keep as efficient as possible, to ensure a sustainable stroke over hundreds (or thousands) of repetitions
Some coaches say you should not go wide with your arms...make it a small circle in front??
Yes as I mention, we don’t want to create too big a circle in front of you. A reasonable size, but definitely don’t let your arms go behind your shoulder line when pulling back! 👍
Excellent. Thank you
Great video. Thank you.
This is one of the clearest instructional backstroke kick tutorials I've come across. I'm still learning and this has been a big help. Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much for the great feedback! 😁
Thanks lovely lad.❤
I’ve tried this before many times but after couple seconds my head dove entirely in the water, what should I improve?
Try moving yourself through the water in a shallow depth. Get used to the feeling of the resistance of the water pushing you in the other direction. Use your sculling hands to move left, right, backwards and forwards. The practice your flutter kick lying on your back, get some power in there and get moving. Then finally put it all together treading water. Let me know how it goes and I can give you more tips if you need 👍👍
Excellent tutorial on breast stroke... made it look so simple...you've a great way of putting it across.. Could you also show how to use the hands and breathe in breast stroke
Thank you very much! And yes, absolutely those are the next two videos in the series. Breaststroke arms will be out on Saturday 👍
Excellent. Thanks
Fellow indian swimmer!
this is the best instruction i have seen . very basic and it works , I definitely subscribe your channel , thanks.
Thank you very much!
You are a good teacher, thank you😊
Thank you! 😃
@@AaquaticsUK If you could please be very kind to show us more ways to excercise the quads/lrgs or just enjoy the pool without knowing how to swim that would be awesome. Have a good day.😊
Absolutely, we’ll film a video and have it up for you soon. Thanks 😁
@@AaquaticsUK I apreciatte it. Have an awesome day!
My speed is not there
KZread must’ve read my mind because I was just trying breaststroke yesterday and was thinking I was probably doing my legs wrong. I knew I needed to find a video to learn how to and this one was recommended to me. This was very helpful. Thank you!
I’m glad it helped, let me know if you have any questions 👍
They are not reading, they're listening
Exelent
Wow. He is good.
I love how she closes her eyes and holds her breath to tell me she wants to go NOW 😂😂
Double Hi-Five at the end! 😁
Amazing tutorial. Thank you 👌💖
The technique to show a child how to climb up on the wall is elbow elbow tummy knee knee. Nobody can exit a pool from the water to the wall feet first. Nobody.
You are absolutely correct. This was just for demonstration purposes. If you have a look at our other climbing out video, Amy demonstrates the correct technique 👍
That fist drill is great for making sure you have a hight elbow catch. Thanks man
No problem 👍
Tried it yesterday, it was fun 😊 but not as difficult as I thought it would be
There are ways to increase difficulty and focus on the aspects of the stroke. If you are confident with your breathing technique try using a pull buoy between your legs - So the only propulsion is the arm pull. Let me know how it goes 👍
@@AaquaticsUKI don't have one of those. I've only been swimming for two months and I'm 36. So breathing is still a challenge. I've learned three strokes and been working on my flip turn, and today's training is on butterfly. Wish me luck

Is the water chlorinated?
Very mildly. Our pools use UV filtration and the chlorine is mostly removed during the filtration stage.

So cute but why do he look like baby yoda so cute
It's a balance though because you are swimming less efficiently while you are taking a breath. I sometimes breathe on 5 while I'm practicing technique for this reason.
For longer distances it’s important to ensure your muscles are able to perform at their very best throughout as much of the exercise as possible. So any efficient lost in breathing will be gained back in longevity and far surpassed 👍
Good information from handsome looking guy
oh my gosh soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and really good well done
Hahahaha very good
Love the little cute baby
