Nice job guys. I've got PF's frontloader on a 1983 Craftsman GT18 with B&S opposed twin it's still going strong after almost 10 years. My budget was a bit tight so I didn't build the backhoe, but now you got me itching again.

looks beautiful. Just cant figure why you would put all that effort into a project and then use single action valves when you could have done it with 3 spaced out to allow the side action. yes it would have been about 2-3 times the cost, but you spent far more on the steel and now that I think about it, you would have saved from less connections and the response would not be as jerky since the common bleed line would absorb much of the fluid stop and start momentum

I love the video and I want to build my own tractor and put this backhoe and the front loader on it. Do you have any videos of the mount you made to attach the backhoe and the loader to the mower or plans?

Looks great! My only complaint would be not using joystick control valves. But because of cost I’ll give ya a pass on that 😅

your guys' stuff is highly underrated for the quality of the content. stuffs legit. i'm looking to do this front end loader/ backhoe build on an old Massey-Harris 22 from 1953 that we restored a few yrs ago. i'm wondering how thick the rear bracket metal was? looked like 1/4" or maybe 3/8" plate?

Hi, I am planning to build this back hoe setup on a Bolens in the next year or so. Could you guys go over how you did the hydraulics? I don't understand why none of the guys that make the videos for these back hoe builds explain how the hydraulics work. Thank you for your time. I really liked the videos on the build. It helped me a lot.

Your mini backhoe was quite impressive but you should do some modifications you can easily get a full 90 degree swing to each side. If you have questions feel free to get hold of me after ten pm days. I am busy during the day usually.

I built one about a year ago. Put it on a 445 john Deere that I totally redone. The backhoe alone with everything cost me about 3 grand. I don"t know how you got by so cheap, mine wasn"t even close to what you said.

I built the front end loader using PF engineering plans with my Yamnar 1500. One thing I noticed is these tractors simply aren't heavy enough for practical front end loader use and lack power without having 4x4. Just my 2 cents. Sold the tractor with loader and purchased a Skid.

If you guys built one after watching this or Norman from I save tractors let me know in comment below. I would love to see more on these of plans. About to order them myself. I was a class A excavator operator and see a few tuning tricks I would love to try. Also when your learning to dig the deeper you go the slower you curl the bucket for maximum excavation. Great build guys loved it.
