Wow it's so beautiful there!! It looks so much like where they filmed the old movie "On Golden Pond" in New Hampshire on Squam Lake. And the lovely sound of the loons. I would love to live there. Maybe one day you will have a little cabin on the lake! 🌱🌷

I'm so sorry about the loss of your Dad, we are always our Dads little girls no matter how old we get. I miss my Dad and Mum very much. Charlie was such a good boy on the water. What a wonderful place to create memories and cherish them all. Your Dad will be just there with you along lifes journey until you meet again 💕 A beautiful tribute to scatter his ashes by the lighthouse, I still have my parents ashes, we will scatter them at their favorite place where they had a static caravan for so many years.. My thoughts are with you and your family. Thankyou for a lovely video. I live in the UK, in Lancashire x

For 60 years I lived close to the ocean and lakes so I know that water " feeling ". My heart goes out to you, your family and Charlie. ❤

The beautiful land of my birth. The perfect place for our Dad’s remains to be sent on a final journey. Mine was laid to rest in a small town landing in Maine where he grew up. Thank you for sharing this time with all of us, it’s such a special place on Earth. ☮️💙🌅

Hi Kate, thank you for such a beautiful and moving video, everyone has already so eloquently expressed how I felt when watching this video and all your videos. Just to echo what others have said you are so authentic and beautiful. You have a real gift. I am sorry for the loss of your father and it must have been such an emotional week. I know you find things difficult like we all do but you work so hard to reframe things and model positivity and emotional resilience through nature and showing love and kindness. I am so glad I found your videos, I personally haven't found anyone like you on KZread. I loved Charlie in the kayak, in his little life jacket! The seaweed face mask was great. Maine looks beautiful. I loved all of it, Kate your videos really give me so much joy. I wish you and your family much love xxx🥰 🤗💕

What a beautiful place and as always beautifully filmed, you will be able remamber your Father and the happy times whenever you visit in the future , before I watched this I had been looking at some photos of a place my late husband and I used to walk and where we scattered his ashes and it made me smile at the happy memories ❤😊

Water has an abundance of negative ions that get absorbed into our bodies, which naturally stimulate our serotonin levels. That's why we always feel happier around bodies of water. I'm so sorry to hear about your father as well. Losing a parent is never easy. So much love to you!

Dear Kate, I'm so sorry for your loss. What a nice place to reflect on his life and all the wonderful experiences growing up. I've never read Nancy Drew; I'll have to check her out. I'm stuck on James Herriot's books; he was an english vet in the 40's and 50's and his books are all about his experiences. He's an absolutely wonderful writer; funny and loving; check him out. Take care dear girl; hugs and kisses for you and Charlie.

Oh, my, thank you SO MUCH for sharing this absolutely beautiful video! Everything was truly magical! I felt like I was right there with you amidst the rocky coastline and kayaking on that gorgeous lake. And the Loons....I've never been anywhere around Loons. Reminds me so much of the movie, "On Golden Pond!" You must feel absolutely renewed and refreshed since your visit! 🥰
