Polymer Clay Artist

Polymer Clay Artist

Super Sculpey and other products I use, as well as the skill level involved in these projects, are for ages 14+! This channel is about polymer clay sculpting and I'm a learn-as-I-go Polymer Clay Artist. Here I do time-lapse sculpting demonstrations using Polymer Clay where I make things like a 3-headed dragon, or an alien. I film the entire process each time and edit a video series for you guys. Enjoy watching something that took days, even months, come to life right before your eyes!! I also do DIY videos on cool crafts, sculpting techniques, and useful stuff like storage and home made tools. I ♥ my subscribers and I read every comment I get. To some this channel is a big inspiration, and they actually TRY sculpting for the first time, it would be a blessing if you passed this along to your friends.. I make doll faces out of premier air dry clay, Iuse styrofoam ball for the head and I have never had any issue at all with cracks . My dolls are quite small the heads are only 1 inch . I love this clay so much more than polymer clay.

Hello Sarah how have you been? I've been out of the loop for so long now it feels like ages.. on the positive side of things all my equipment has been replaced and I can stream live again. I'm pretty excited but also very nervous. My better half said she'd hangout with me though so that makes it a little better. I'm gonna try picking up the pieces and see what happens. Wish us luck!

He's so adorable, but be careful about the core and seeds. If you didnt know, they contain cyanide, and at his size, it could poison him if he ingests some. Anyway he's still the cutest lil guy.

Actually the only human food he's had was what you see in this video. The apple was taken away we don't want him to have human food because he will always want it

@TheBroodingTom I was really only referring to the apple. I'm also the same with my dog about human food. Once they get used to it, they'll never stop bugging you for more lol

I also only meant we mean to be very careful with him. I was just talking about it to my wife and she was saying some fruits and veggies are actually okay so we'll explore occasionally things like that. Really I was after that crunchy sounds he was making for ASMR but the washing machine said heck no to that 😆

@TheBroodingTom ofc, I know you will. And yeah, a balanced diet of fruits n veggies is actually much better for dogs than straight kibble. With my dog, (Berner), when I give him straight kibble, I also sometimes mix in a lil mashed sweet potato or mashed pumpkin, just for the added nutrients. You also nailed the asmr part 👌 I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more with him

To become hard It has to be baked in a oven otherwise it'll just stay soft forever. At the time I was only exploring the idea of using this as a light weight "core" material for beads or whatever I wanted to be less heavy. Normally I'd just use aluminum foil to make things lighter but thought that would be harder to do for smaller objects like beads.

i dont think u will see this because its been years since this video. i have lost my grandMOTHER in a hospital in Romania. I have been with her during the nigth and day for a few days, she looked to get better than the night i didnt sleep there, she was murdered by the hospital staff. as it happens in the corupted hospitals in Romania. Her own doctor did it. The doctor was working that nigth so my mother told me to come home because she s in good hands. i thought 3 times to go back. there was a strange feeling. every step i took there was a strange feeling. even when i left her room i looked longer and tried to keep that image in my head. The next morning they called to say there were problems breathing. the same thing i told my family the entire week. the medical staff was always doing smth to her oxigen mask. most of the times it was off and the container hidden. it was a container that draws oxigen from water so sometimes it was off which would prive her of any air. i found her multiple times with the color of her face and neck starting to change, sometimes there was no water or sometimes it was put on a high level which would be too much so it would squirt water in her mask and make her drown. i wanted to move her to another hospital but i was told they will call the other hospital and tell them we arent 'good' patients and also they wont release her file. when they put a 'bag tag' on ur name, nobody will take u. it was constant fear. i had to put money in the pocket of the staff which were working in 3 shifts of 3 people or more. kiss @$$ to pieces of garbage for the smallest service. but in the end, the moment they had the opportunity, they took her life so that the bed would be free and bring someone of more 'value'. someone who maybe would put even more money in their pocket. its been 4.5 years since then and i have a lot of moments when i still make plans on how to go save her. a bunch of money hungry ppl killed an innocent senior lady for money. u go to hospitals to die in some countries. we brought her with new pijamas and we found her with a dirty tshirt on her and when they wanted to take it off , they took it off the conventional way she just had surgery and she had broken ribd and a tube in between her ribs. she was crying and screaming yet they didnt care. they moved and twiste her jut to get the t shirt off above hr head. i asked them to cut it off because i will pay the tshirt or go buy anoher one and the 'nurses' said that if i dont shut up and le them do thei job. they will ban me from visiting my grandmother. and this was in the 1st day in the hospital. i think i also have some ptsd from then and ppl dont understand me. they say i play the victim and i am not the only one in this position and i should just go on with my life. seems nobody cares abt the sick. everybody lives life in a fast lane and there is no more time for empathy. i feel ur pain. i dont know the right words to say than : u arent alone. life aint perfect. we need to learn how to live with the pain, do smth good with it and also enjoy the beauty of life. i am struggling for years already to enjoy life as i used to but it all goes at a slow pace because we need to dedicate 3/4 of our time to pay daily bills, then also put aside for bad days and thee isnt more time or money for our needs and dreams. we r at the mercy of society and i think we should find ways to live our life and when our time comes, to be ready no matter what. live through our work for a better world and the memories we shared with ppl, through our kids and the values they will take further

The secret about air dry clay (for avoiding cracking) is slowly adding new levels of clay after the ones before dry. I sculpt 10cm-15cm figures in DAS clay, and so far it's been an awesome journey. Using water helps to smooth it a lot, but once u take it out of foil package, the time starts and it's a race for the right shape. It's also not that expensive (comparing to polymer clay) so if something's not as I want, I just use Dremel to cut that part out and make a new one. What I love about this is - when first level dries a bit and become brighter (2-3 hrs), I just put a bit of water on it, so new layer can stick to it and can easily continue to work on it. It really is a perfect and budget solution for those out there who don't want to spend a lot just trying their new sculpting hobby. It comes in different colours, so everybody can pick what they like.
