Please, to everyone watching. Do not DIY this. This is cultural appropriation. It is also against the law! It is a violation of the Indian Arts and Crafts Act (Act). Please note that the Act applies to art and craft products being displayed (even on social media) or offered for sale, or sold, as American Indian, Indian, Alaska Native, Native American, or the product of a particular Indian tribe as defined by the Act. So, if you have to ask yourself if you should? Just don't, please 🙏.

😡🤬If you was a TRUE INDIGENOUS PERSON or you would NOT be disgracing Indigenous people by calling their Ceremonial clothing costumes. They is known as Regalia and are used for Ceremonial purposes, Pow Wow's, and any other Indigenous celebrations the different Tribe's has call for. A costumes you wear at costume parties, Halloween, and movie, television or theater productions. Also the wearing of Ceremonial Headdresses like you are making here where never worn by women and is a disgrace for women to wear but only by men that where and are the heads of the tribe. Do your research lady, even if you are indigenous your not traditional. Learn your culture or indigenous culture in general. Geez, I'm white and even know all this. I do have son's that belong to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. SMH

Thank you for these cute ideas! My ancestors are natives and I think it is wonderful to celebrate all the cultures of the world with their many different styles and beauty. I respect them all. Each one unique in it's time. Imagine what our ancestors would wear in the modern cities of today. Too bad it all changed, but I think it's great that many people are respecting the culture and recreating the authentic styles, with a modern twist of course ;) and the memory of our loved ones is being preserved through the hearts of many such as yourself. Bless you dear sister. :)
