terrible line up, you took his entire head and neck and nose out of the midline, that's a big FAIL in my classroom !

0:40 It's the little details which makes this great, as you said he was rotated to the left, he twisted a bit to show what you meant

Flexed, Rotated and Sidebent L. So we take the patient to the barrier by rotating R and extending but sidebending left, then thrust by rotating R?

  • @nowackichiro

All good but it was not a HVLA technique… as you stated „I didn’t even have to thrust”… ;) This is simply a mobilization technique taking the joint into its end range of motion but not producing any neurophysiological effects related to HVLA. Thanks for sharing anyway :)

Not necessarily true - this is the setup for cervical HVLA - in OMM you localize specifically to that segment, in this video and as they stated when they were going into the barrier the segment popped or was treated within setup. For this is would not be useful to then HVLA after the correction already occurred if the segment was already treated. they stated how the thrust would occur if they were to do it

My Dr ordered a manual Lymphatic Drainage, so I was wondering what thaI is, I thought they are gonna drain some fluid from my bone...:) So I came to see this video but got totally mesmerized by that volunteer patient. That doc should have use some ordinary looking person so that it be easier to focus on what he is doing and not get distracted by that super hot volunteer patient/nurse...:) Just saying...:)

A chiropractor herniated one of my thoracic disks doing this. Then he wouldn’t believe that he had injured my spine bc of how “rare” thoracic disk injuries are.

you shoiuld consider fixating the scalpula if goal is to get motion through the glenohumeral joint, but for sure tehere is major benefits to get the motions and activations through the whole shoulder girdle

I don’t have access for this type of pro therapy work however this confirms why my version of home lymphatic work is working. I’ve been hitting it pretty aggressively x2/day with a massager, dry brushing, then rebounding. Edema is going down , toxins coming out in stool, had nausea and flushing this morning so skipped my workout till that calms down. I’m so grateful for therapies like this being taught by generous healers as regular Medical Doctors have not been taught this therapeutic approach. My MD just said, “well you’re just a sweller, keep exercising and wearing compressions” I don’t blame her for not knowing but things so effective I’m doing at home (although time consuming) are already decreasing YEARS of edema. And I have exercised well & healthy weight my whole life. So again thank you for teaching those of us who are studying non conventional ways to get to the root & heal.

In Flexion the "physician's fingers move away from the physician and spread apart". You said that they approximate around 2:20. This didn't make sense to me so I checked other sources including my school's OPP manual which I quoted above. In Extension the "physician's fingers move towards the physician and fingers adduct"
