Are you sure? On 4 pole springing test, if we have an L on L, the most block pole is right hemibase of sacrum, not left ILA. Left ILA is free to move, i guess...

PSIS is on the ilium so how does palpating the forwardness of ilium suggest a sacral torsion?
@judod97
5 ай бұрын
just assuming...as the torsion to the sacrum is a movement of tenths of a degree...also,when there is a ilium posterior on one side,most likely there is ilium anterior on the other,that would make the stiff ligaments around the SI go into the only logical position of a torsion.However,that is not a significant movement,and also SI joint is not a ,,key joint"

@@judod97 And given that the body is never perfectly symmetrical, what does it matter if the sacrum is slightly torsioned? Is there any benefit in telling your patient that they have this "torsion"?
@judod97

@@AdamAdz4772 there is no benefit of the patient knowing there is a torsion. And symmetry doesnt matter that much,it is the function that matters-if the quality and quantity of the movement is okay,in general(because the ammount of degrees the S can do is close to none,the largest being in to flexion,about 3degrees,torsion being just tenths of a defree),as far as im concerned,i wouldnt care to deal with it. This being osteopathic POV, chiropractic is different
