I love these videos and I get inspired. The problem is....I load my car with my camera gear and I'm off....expecting to find some, beautiful UK scenery....and then it dawns on me - I don't live in the UK...I'm in the USA and my country side just doesn't do it for me. I don't know...maybe it's me...maybe it's the camera...maybe it's that I'm not in the UK.

My D500 fell off my tripod as I hiked over a bridge. As you, I thought I mounted it on the tripod securely but was mistaken. The cam hit the wooden bridge steps and somehow came out ok and functioning. I was very lucky. I think it survived because it had hit my calf as it went down and took some momentum out from the fall.

I've watched a few of your videos now, and every time I see something like the intro scene, I remind myself that you also had to carry all the video equipment and tripod, set that up ahead of, walk past, then go back and pick it up again... Speaking as a fellow funghi-loving introverted nerd, if you're ever on the south coast and fancy some company and a guide to my local woodlands - give me a shout.

Lovely video and compositions Courtney as ever thank you...However I cant see the point of a lens with a bokeh like that. Not for me I'm afraid, there are plenty of 200mm second hand, even great ones at good prices for you f-mount.. Even though I went mirrorless some time ago, I still use some f-mount lenses on the FTZ adapter, especially where there are either gaps in the Z mount range or the cost is way too high and a decent f-mount is available.

It seems to me the donut bokeh is more interesting as a video effect than one for still photography; it seems to overpower a still image, but doesn’t in a video clip, because it is constantly changing. Also…are you a Marmite lover or hater?

I guess I'll be one of the few to say the bokeh is absolutely horrendous with reflex lenses and the Kase lens is no exception. It's totally distracting from the subject of the image.
