  Thank you for a nice video. Went after seeing the video. Package cost Rs 8500/person. 2 Day package. Includes Day1-Dinner at Woodnote, Day2-Breakfast/Lunch by KTDC at Gavi, Dinner at Woodnote, Day 3 Breakfast at Woodnote. Saw only couple of Sambar deer, a lion tailed macaque, jungle fowl. Elephants were on a distant mountain top, too far, saw via binoculars. The Safari Jeep picks guests from Woodnote before 6 AM. The same jeep dropped us back to Woodnote late afternoon. No tea served at Gavi, though listed in the day itinerary. The trek into the jungle was nice. There were lots of leaches on the trail. The leach socks provided by KTDC guide helped. All in all a nice experience. Woodnote stay was quite good. Food was ok. Staff at front desk seemed very business like.

  Don't plan Nagarahole Nanachi gate forest Last week I visited with my family.., the Room condition is very worst there is no water/Hot water, No light, No cleanness at Room. And also we taken safari there is no animals site. Waste of money and improper response from the guards & Room boys. So, don't plan waste of money & time.

  I completely agree that kids should be taken to the forests early to understand what's an ecosystem is, and how life in a forest carries on irrespective of the dangers. I visited Kanha and Kaziranga, and I saw my kids had enjoyed without a cellphone for a considerable period of time. The only thing restricting me visit the kabini is the price. It's like 1.5 days in kabini vs 5 days in kanha (including travel cost)

  Using an electric powered vehicle in the jungle, would be more appropriate. Wouldn't expect to see animals with the noise of a diesel engined Jeep

  Yes correct, but roads are bad in some areas and required 4x4 vehicle in such places.

  June is good. But, the right time from august to January. They may cancel if red alert in that area.

  As a Keralite, Vattavada is one of my favorite comfort place to visit. You stayed at the same place we stayed 3 years ago 'Castle de Woods' 😍 but they seem to have changed it a lot, I like the old simple one ❤️
