  My shampoo is not extracting? Any ideas? every once in a while i will see it pulling water but its definatly glitchy

  Good video! But it's much easier & more proper to say the word height as hīte. The e, g, & h are silent. Remember, there is no th sound in height... it's ght, like in sight, might, right, tight. Sorry, just a pet peeve, as when people say expecially or expresso instead of especially& espresso.

  My parents bought their Rainbow at least 35 years ago (my dad said it's closer to 40) and the main carpet beater just conked out yesterday (June 8, 2024), the motor on the Rainbow unit is fine. My dad now 91 years old told me they've never had to get it serviced, but I did have to replace the hose once a few years ago.

  They do work good but it is like hauling around a shop vac through your house. And you have to take it apart, fill the tub with water, put it back together then pull it around the house. We like ours but pretty much never use it. We bought a Ryobi cordless stick vacuum and love it. You just grab it and walk around the house cleaning. Not cords or huge vacuum to pull around. When we finish vacuuming with the Ryobi, I charge the battery (which takes about 2 hours) and put it back on the vacuum and it is ready to go for the next time I want to use it. And I can clean the entire 2,400 sf house on just 1 charge.

  Think this guy may be an idiot. Unless that handheld vac is a sealed unit with a hepa filter.. he's blowing all the mold, pollen and dust from the filter right out the back of that vac filling up the room with a ton of allergens. Then there's the fact the guys cleaning the filters in their office or what looks to be a living room. That's freakin' ridiculous.

  Well, my mom owned a Kirby G5 that she bought from Kuwait and i aprove of this machine in every way possible, it has been working like it supposed to be for the last 26 years, i have never seen such a durable machine, built to last, its the first and last multifunction vaccum you will ever need. It comes at a hefty price, yet worth every single penny spent on it. There are even more extentions that we have such as 1) Carpet Vaccum Head 2) Rotary vaccum Brush 3) carpet shapooing head 4) Sander/messager 5) floor polishing head 6) Came with a Waxing Stick 7) Foaming / Spray Gun 8) Horse Hair brush 9) regular vaccum head with extention pipes and a handle This machine is a beast and i would definitely reccomend for anyone who's willing to make a lifetime investment in a durable machine and an always professionally cleaned home. For those who dont know .. the machine looks heavy but it has a drive gearbox that makes it easier to use than an average home vaccum. Im sorry but this video does not showcase how amazing and how versatile this machine is in real life.

  I took my Kirby vaccum bag out but there was this plastic filter like cup in the permanent kirby bag and I do not know how to put it back on. Help!😊

  After struggling for several hours and causing black and blue marks on myself from fussing with this weighty object, I gave up and went to bed. Next day I found this video. I had my machine right beside me as I followed along. Stopping it, reversing it, had the closed captions one. It was an event of true marvel. It is so true, people, the devil is in the detail, but this man in this video is an angel of mercy for all of us who have become despondent over our beloved Kirby taking a nose dive.

  Is there a number that I could call, I just took out all of the debris that was stuck in the sections chamber then I replaced the bag and then put the thing back on and now the machine does not want to turn on it turned on before what could it be

  Thank you so much this was a great video. My vacuum was not suctioning and I checked all the stuff and then the last part was taking off that where the section is I twisted it cuz I couldn't do it before looking at your video I twisted it counterclockwise as you said and man there was a whole bunch of screws and hair and paper it was so jammed no wonder it was not sucking at all thank you so much

  I have a door Kirby sales man at my door and I am sooo happy we purchased the Kirby 5th generation. Suction is great. Shampoo sand color inch thick carpet without leaving sticky residue behind, aging carpet. Is now 25 years old and runs like new. Only have one repair replacing electric cord. The ONLY ONE purchase VACUUM for us in 25 yrs.

  The handle on the end of the hose keeps coming off when I threaded back on it’ll stay for a while and then come off again. Is this handle supposed to be glued to the hose?
