Are Kirby's built to last?
In today's video we'll be testing the durability of a Kirby Vacuum, by trying to destroy it. We're looking to see if the vacuums motor still turns on after a series of drops.
If the motor does turn on, it just shows how well Kirby vacuums are made. Stick around to find out for yourself.

Mine is 23 years old. I've had only two minor switch repairs the whole time I've owned it. Worth every penny.
I hate this, I'm watching this in my room of all of the Kirby models, I love my Kirbys!

We got some old filter queens, tristars and some electrolux canisters that we can destroy. A filter queen would be good to test the durability of that's for sure.

I remember your old Kirby vs Dyson comparison from 10-15 years ago on your website... you should reenact that 10 point challenge as a KZread video this time with newer models.
How about throwing a Sebo x4? There supposed to be durable as well

@@GreatVacsCOM I highly believe Dyson destroyed modern vacuums by convincing everyone that bagless is better which it is completely inferior to bagged vacuums
My mom had a 96 g4 till 02 and it was replaced by a g6 which I still have and she now uses a shark , but I stick with my kirby despite it being heavy and crappy maneuverability. I actually painted our house with the spray gun attachment this November

@@GreatVacsCOM its not the best since its designed for small projects like furniture but I used acrylic exterior paint and found the best to be 60% paint with 40% water and filtering the paint with a screen

Kirby is a good dry vacuum, but Rainbow's ability to suction water and clear clogged drains makes it the best!

Due to work guidelines at the time a mask was required at all times even if I was standing outside by myself. lol

Masks have more than one use, if you want to breathe 25 year old dust, that's your choice.
