why are materials differ from the original HL:source, I don't get it. it's not only in Yours video it's the same in all the others'. Do you use the same source, maybe there is the same map in s&box that everyone showcases?

I dunno. I feel like S&box will need a long time to build its brand of the sandbox spirit & personality that GMod had built if it's going to be a successor. The loss of connection to HL2 and other source games might not help either for some of us. Maybe it's the familiarity; GMod was built off of HL2 and felt familar & accessible based on that. S&box doesn't have this grounded feeling, being made as an original game on its own. Probably just the nostalgia also getting at us in this aspect

В обоих случаях ИИ писали энтузиасты, но наглядно видно что тот же ИИ в S&box написанный за гораздо более меньшее время, оптимизирован гораздо лучше, из-за адекватного языка программирования C#, были тесты с ИИ других моддеров, результат был похожий, оптимизация больше зависит от игры и языка программирования в ней, нежели чем от самого разработчика.

One thing I can't get behind for s&box is the ugly ass player models. GMOD uses source player models which look cool and I wish they got the permission to use HLA models for S&box.
