    Can anyone confirm if this freezer is garage ready? Not all freezers are.

  • @KeithBlade
    @KeithBladeАй бұрын

    Not officially far as I can tell. But this depends how hot your garage actually gets. I've been running this in our garage from day 1 only turned up half way, and it works great. Same with the freezer before this one, ran fine for years. But even in summer it's rarely above 85 in our garage. I don't think this would work in a really hot garage like in Arizona. Also may depend if your garage has insulated walls or not.

    Hey so I have a 2023 Acura tlx and hooking up an amp and sub to it. I’m able to go to the anc menu and disable it while I’m in the menu but when I leave the menu it turns on again. Not sure how to keep it off. If I don’t keep it off every time I press on the accelerator and the bass goes off

  • @KeithBlade
    @KeithBladeАй бұрын

    This is a temporary fix that doesn't require messing with the wiring. There is a way to permanently disable it but it involves getting into wiring anf I can't recommend doing that on a new car. Plus then you'd lose the inside road noise deadening. You could talk to a stereo shop, they usually have stuff to install that can fine tune what you're hearing

    Thats not always related to a thermostat, theres other things involved in the heater. If your engine runs cold and never warms up properly, it could be a thermostat. If it hasn't been replaced in years it's a good idea to replace it anyway.

  • @imahitu

  • @KeithBlade
    @KeithBlade2 ай бұрын

    Depends on the tire manufacturer (varies) if you want an exact answer I'd ask the shop where you got the tires. Other than that I routinely run 35-36psi when the tires are warm and never had an issue and that advice came straight from the Lexus dealer.

  • @KeithBlade

    Agreed on OEM. But mixing green and orange coolant is not recommended. The truck came with green coolant in the 90s, and still had green coolant when we bought it last year. It's not worth the risk to me to try to flush all the green stuff out and replace with orange because if they mix, it can gel up and clog the water jacket. It runs well with green coolant and if changed at correct intervals there should be no issues

    Vehicle mileage, and more importantly any micro cracks or issues on any part of the belt. Usually if there are some cracks there are many, all over the belt. Bending or twisting the belt with your fingers sometimes helps to see them.

    I have a large chest freezer and use stackable bins and a marker board above the chest freezer to map out everything in it, therefore I always know what is in my chest freezer, and can always reach all the way to the bottom of it easily. Chest freezers hold cold air extremely well and will save on electricity costs, also chest freezers are not auto defrosting, and so they will keep the temperature more consistent to avoid freezer burn. Finally because the cold air stays in, and isn't constantly spilling out when you open the door, it minimizes moisture and thus frost buildup, meaning manual defrosting events will be minimal.

Its like the more effort you put in to going faster is wasted effort because the bike dont care lol. I upgraded the cassette to a 10 speed, fitted a deore rear deraileur and grx 800 crankset 1x narrow wide and some sammy slick tyres. Its now a bit lighter but not faster , i intend to upgrade the wheels next .
