TBH the Mint model fits her better. And the rigging and facial inflections are really really good. Especially for her eyes. I love this model. She also seems peppier and happier.

Y'know what's weird? Some of The JP Talents for both niji and holo are known to have meals with each other quite often. It's weird that this is a big issue on the EN side, but not so much on the JP side. It's like there's trust issue or misunderstanding between the JP and EN side.
Iirc those JP talents known to hang had either worked with eachother professionally before in one or both PLs, or were friends before this. Also Hololive doesn’t stigmatize collabing outside the company for any of their branches, but there’s a lot of paperwork going on behind the scenes.
@@johngrace1312 And the paperwork is done by holo's management. The talent just say they want to do A, management say "A can" then management prep for A. Talent offload most work that doesn't have to be done by themself to the management.
Not weird, just different culture. At the risk of sounding like an NDF, I'd say that you'll never find a more skittish company about public image outside of an idol company from the far east. They're concerned about advertisers and sponsorships getting the wrong impression and seeing they're out to grow and earn, a show of unprofessionalism ups the risk of a burnt bridge. You've seen this yourself: HYTE cancelling their sponsorships to Niji after the Selen termination along with many other merch companies have severely hurt AC to the point that they're thinking of fridging EN and start building on CN.
It's an issue on the EN side because of useless management. If you ever noticed, Niji would vet who you can collab and a bunch of smaller, "never heard" streamers got filtered out (and to Niji, "Never heards" mean most of the Western streaming scene). It's people with selling points to managment like Shoto and 39daph who can even pass whatever standards Niji had. You'll notice this because Selen managed to play by management rules by collabing with English speakers who tend to be affiliated with JP (Scarz), Pros or even English speakers within the Niji network like Aza and Bonbon. The rules were kinda relaxed after Selen got terminated, mainly because Niji must have realized how stupid they were because Selen grew so big from all the networking she did while the rest couldn't because of how restrictive EN management was. Funny enough, the remaining people in Niji still don't make moves. That's because almost all the top EN indie vtubers have collabed with Doki already, so the chance of management approving a collab with them is low.
@@littlebee7147 sounds like a self hurting strategy. Doki would never limit herself on who to collab with. While niji won't allow a collab with whoever has collabed with selen? That just means doki would keep expanding her network, while niji's network will keep shrinking. Niji's inability to admit mistakes and self correct, keep biting back at them. Imo niji is desperately trying to maintain their image as the top vtuber company. It looks like to niji being on top means they never make mistakes. So, when a talent graduated or terminated under a somewhat negativity situation, that means the talent is the one at wrong. Placing all the blame on the talent just makes them look pretty and unprofessional. They really need to learn from how holo treats their departed talents. Just treat them respectfully and professionally, that's all it takes. Unless it's NDA related, there's no restrictions on mentioning them.

Makes sense. Think all corpos have to struggle with this, not a niji exclusive thing. And niji had enough leaks as it is. Also your title might not be right? I think shes talking about making friends which doesn't mean stream. shes streamed with plenty of out of niji before.
not unless niji said yes and those weren't nessisary those that she wanted to stream with most. Note how there are no phase connect, atleast 90% of the indies or vshojo among those that niji collab with. There is only hololive and those are RARE, most collabs are within niji. You are never gonna see a niji member collab with mint or doki for example.

Corpos don't have to struggle with this, however. They choose to do so partly in order to maintain the toxic control over talents that is par for the course in the disgusting idol industry.
Yikes. The fact that Matara was *_that_* self conscious about who she could or couldn't have trusted in Nijisanji just proves how incompetent they are as a VTuber company. I'm glad that Matara doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

It's like working for a marvel movie and then going to a party with your high school friends and tell them "Oh yeah, we are licensing some stuff. You know, shit you can't really tell anybody and that if it gets leaked and links back to you, you are gonna get fucked, and not in a good way.
@@TealVelvet Yeah, this isn't a Niji specific or even black company issue. NDAs, especially for publicly traded companies are important. This was just a self imposed rule from someone who's admitted that it's hard for them to make "friends". We already lost Yozora Mel over this issue. And Niji doesn't seem to have a blacklist at least. Plenty of old and new collabs with small or possible "risky" vtubers.

@@Solus749 Well, those are a different case. I was thinking more along how Pomu did a collab with Lia from PC or Rosemi doing collabs with Nova. If you want an example of that a black list really looks like, check how the mid sized MSM talents don't hang out with a lot of their old friends anymore.
@Duamerthrax except she's still under the NDA and will be until at least two years from graduation. So something major has changed since leaving Niji that has let her actually relax. My money is that it wasn't the NDA, but Niji's INSANE and invasive interpretations of them as seen with that person who was telling all about...Hex, was it? Coming after her well after her own NDA was over, and ordering her to do things she couldn't do even if she did still have one. Unless you're one of Niji's favorites, you're fucked if you do anything that any of the managers can blame you for, and it's pretty clear that nobody except Luxiem are favorites.
While as she said it is really important to not speculate and to give them their privacy, it is also nice to hear that they have cleared up their previous issues and whether or not they become friends or whatever after this, at least they can move forward on better terms, that's good for both of them

It's important to realize and accept that not everyone can be friends with everyone else. Some times, even if both are good people, they might not end up as friends. But as long as they're not enemies over misunderstandings or other lame reasons, who cares, right? Let them live their lives :D
