Matara is exactly right. Every job interview should be you interviewing them just as much as they interview you. It just so happens to turn out that all reports suggest that Gunrun is inhumanly amazing.

It depends on the job. With some jobs it's expected for the applicants to have an understanding of the job beforehand, and a desire to work there, so if someone is asking questions it would imply they weren't ready. This would be particularly true with positions that are higher up in an organization, and there is much competition to get the promotion.

Mata, and the other "former Hollywood" VTubers have gone from a highly restrictive and toxic environment, to indy/good as indy VTubing, and have all said nearly the same thing; they were almost overwhelmed by the freedom they now have, stunned by having managers that actually help them, and being able to collab with far more people than before. I'm so glad they are all doing better now, and I hope they keep living their best lives.

I've watched a lot of videos regarding how great VShojo is and how everyone is very supportive of VTubers, and I really gotta wonder how much of a profit the company makes. I mean, I've heard Vtubers talking about the company paying for therapy, equipment, equipment installation, etc, which probably costs a large amount of money altogether, so how does it all work?

They take a share of the Merch and Sponsorship sales, where most of the real money is for big streamers. But in order for their business model to work you need to have good numbers to turn a profit (and need to have good chemistry with the existing talents). Hence the reason why its harder to get into Vshojo than Hololive, they are very selective and invite only.

Well let's not forget that a LOT of stuff the company can take as a Tax Writeoff. You'll also notice how FEW Graduations have happened in VSHoujo, compared to amny others. An what little they had, they learned from to avoid that happening in the future. VShoujo is there for the Long Term, whereas Nijisanji is closer to a Slum Lord or Pump & Dump. An considering that a lot of the Longterm Talent brings in the most Income, it makes a LOT of sense to INVEST in those same talents. Since it costs a lot of money to get someone started, with things like Interviews, Contracts, and more.

@@TheAyanamiRei True, Nijisanji is trying to please shareholders in the classic Wallstreet way: cut corners to maximize short term profits. They start with replacing competent management with low cost and skill interns. Then they cut budget for projects for the talents. And finally, they create a toxic work culture to trap the talents in their company. What we're seeing now is the end result of such a practice that has destroyed many businesses.

Considering what a viper's nest the last place turned out to be it's not all that surprising she was hesitant lol. It's funny too because I remember just a few years ago, Vshojo had a terrible reputation and couldn't go 5 minutes without some kind of drama while Nij-I MEAN undisclosed previous company was a highly respected brand. How times change 😂

The shift in members was a really good change for VShojo. The ones that left were deemed the problematic members, and in return, the new members, especially Henya and Mata, gives so much good vibes that the atmosphere around the group always seems fun.

She’s a veteran VTuber. She used to be known as Monkeyism, but then joined Nijisanji as Nina Kosaka. Her experiences with them mentally scarred her so badly that that is why she was reluctant to join VShojo; she was afraid of being mistreated again. Fortunately, that didn’t happen, and she’s happier now than ever before.

1:01 "not *contractually* obligated to say that at all" now, plz listen to the hamster wheel spin in my head about this statement for a tiny second- are those that are still where she was, under contract, to say they enjoy that job? no matter what, under *contract* - say positive stuff only about the place? i mean, i would already have guessed but then i remember a certain stream where it was very '4chan-esq' where they are bashing the shit out of each other and just re-looked at a video of it still up on youtube. at 1:53 in the video, 'the SecretGC' one, you see multiple comments actually calling Nijisanji stuff aka 'in a bad light', so that could be why it was, iirc, also pulled off her channel? whoever 'externalhollow' was in that, said 'NijisanjiEN only copies other vtubers'. if contractually obligated to be positive about the kuro-corpo, it would make sense why the stream was then pulled but...then WHO was 'externalhollow' and could it have been one of the terminated ones? (like perhaps, and i enjoy this persons content, but Yugo/u-san? were they in Niji by then? BUT that's only me, only going off that 'handle-name' and occams razor tells us the answer is likely much more simple than that) and if not, and my argument weighs on mata's words here, then who tf was 'externalhollow' and if contractually obligated to be positive/only say good about them, then who the hell is it and why do i feel like it's 'one of the favourites', BECAUSE RIGHT AFTER, someone 'slumsaint' then said 'no, i stopped after *elira* ' when a previous comment was asking ''does anyone watch the new livers, exsoliel or smth?" by 'playfulspirit' now, was pomu/mint the phantom 'spirit' part of this collab or was she like mysta and pissed off basically about it when she missed it too? because im really hoping im just grasping at straws there that it could've been pomu writing that and is actually someone else just using a, funnily enough, name that just happens to connect with pomu/Mint. again also, it could've just been random generated names too, just keep that in mind if you think im in anyway going after anyone here. im just thinking about that sentence and then that stream came into my head and had to check and sure enough - niji was not promoted in a good light, as perhaps a certain contract says they must do = the stream getting taken down (again, iirc that that happened)
