  Maybe. I made all these videos to submit to spedrun.com and I need to make a new save. But I've been wanting to come back to this game. Actually the original idea that made me want to do these runs was the idea of doing a full playthrough speedrun but there wasn't a leaderboard for it. If I make another video I'll try to remember to use phase 1, and sorry for my horribly mixed audio xD

  @@ChrisXPZ all good, I was addicted to this game on GameCube, and phase 1 was my favorite team to use from the bikes sound alone, like a hayabusa on crack lol. And I enjoyed the videos, especially the 1 lap records.

  I usually don't either but it's never from stuff like this it's always like slow wobbly cameras and stuff like in GTA when you get drunk I guess I get sea sick. My mom can't play first person shooters for more than a minute or two before getting motion sick :P

  I guess it's one of my favorite games but I wouldn't really call it dedication hehe :P I rented the game a long time ago at block buster as a kid, the sales person told me not to cheat and tap boost and the game is super rewarding. I didn't know what tapping boost meant and I ended up just cheating my way through. Then in highschool I randomly picked the game back up and actually started getting good at it and beat it properly a couple of times and stopped playing again I recently picked the game back up and beat it a couple of times but I didn't know anyone else who played it so I checked out speedruns and learned about tapping boost and was immediatly getting near record times which has never happened to me before so I pushed to get a few WRs and yeah. I just like the game x)

  @@ChrisXPZ Damn, that's amazing story, so I'm guessing that guy also used to play this game competitively cause he knew about the "tapping boost " My story is I was a kid at an eb store and picked it up cause the cover image was attractive and price was also right for a used game, I somehow knew my dad would let me buy it. In hindsight, so glad i did

I remember when I first played looking for the character from the cover and being disappointed at the ingame appearance xD and then being stoked for Atradaitoshi is the first city themed map and my mom getting so annoyed at gimme a phat beat gimme a phat beat gimme a phat beat over and over haha

  I guess so. I'm using Oxygen borders in Plasma with a custom dark color scheme and the active window glows so I changed the glow to purple :P

  Banshee was a mid level boat that needed more precision when it came to the turns. You can carry that speed if you are smooth and used the boost outside.

  pro tip, if youve got rockets etc comin at you in later speed categories, you can use the figure 8 track in pasiphae 6 to avoid them if its timed right, use the air break and turn at the apex and get onto the opposite track. works great and a fun challenge to time right. good luck in future runs!

  Oh yeah lol same, I pretty much stop paying attention to the AI. If you think the AI sucks in regular levels though you should play the Catacombs level. I remember spending weeks trying to get 1st

  The most powerful boat is Thresher , same as Tidal Blade and Banshee .... Three Boats in Medium Tracks : Greek Isles , Lake Powell and The Far East .... The Powerful Boat is Thresher racing in Catcomb {Bonus Track } ..... Is doing so well as the most Powerful Boat same as Banshee and Tidal Blade ..... Every time Thresher 's Engine makes that noise, It brings the noise to my ears ...Every time Thresher brings the noise to my ears ....Good Luck to you Thresher , My Favourite Boat same as Banshee .....

  You'd think that the Banshee would be the fastest boat due to its hydroplane design, but apparently deep v, trimaran and multi directional streamlined hull designed boats beat this ghostly racer in terms of speed which makes no sense.

  It would've been hilarious if you raced this Utah reservoir in the Midway or Razorback. They're simple deep v hull speedboats like for a leisurely cruise on the lake... at speeds of 200+ mph.

  It's a tad bit strange of a design. Normally, boats have a streamline up to prevent their nose from going under and causing the craft to pearl. The Rad Hazard doesn't have the best streamline for a boat but it's a video game. Logic almost doesn't exist.
