Excellent video!! Very well explained!! A good example that I can relate to is comparing a Gibson Les Paul 50’s and 60’s standard to a Gibson Les Paul Slash Standard. I live in Nashville and went down to Gibson Garage and played them all and there was a distinct difference in the feel and quality between the guitars I mentioned. To my surprise I ended up buying the Slash November burst LP……I’m not a fan of slash but it just felt so good and different!! 🙌🏻

If you're someone who plays guitar a lot, say it's your job for example, then you'll 100% understand why someone would go to some length in order to make the neck feel worn in and played. Really, there are guitars with +2K price tags hanging in every guitar shop in the world that need some attention to the neck. And, if you've spent any time touring below Arena level, you'll appreciate that your instruments sometimes get the shit kicked out of them on the road - you're not caring about dinks and scratches if your brand new instrument is already dinked and scratched. Now, this isn't necessarily 'why' people play relics, but these are some legitimately good reasons why you would want one...or two.

I can’t find a Zakk Wylde white bullseye les paul that’s not a dirty cream color by gibson and couldn’t afford it if I could because it would be a collectors item or custom shop. I can’t find it from any affordable reputable maker either. I also couldn’t make one myself because I know for a fact that I would screw up the finish. The only ones that I can find that even come close to what I want are the chibsons. Nowhere else I’ve looked has had it, they’re pretty much my only option for an actually white bullseye “Zakk Wylde”, so I’m going to do it anyway and replace everything but the body and paint if I have to

The idea that a good amp needs to have break up is totally ridiculous and unrealistic. When playing at home you turn up to break up?? How’s that working out in your home and with your neighbors? when playing on stage with other musicians the idea that you have to turn the amp up to get a good break up… The other guys on stage are not happy. Hence, why every player has pedals. Tone is subjective to each player and I think that’s the primary consideration for most guitar players when purchasing an amp regardless of price.
