Hello everyone and welcome to Mad4FrenchCars. First of all big thankyou to all of you who have been watching our videos, subscribing our channel and liking the videos we make. Channel is growing and with your help we have achieved our first 1000 subscribers in just 9 months. I would like this channel to grow even bigger and better. So we started to do a 4K videos for all the car events we will go to, starting with our last video ,,Peugeot Festival" which we have already filmed and posted in 4K. Car maintenance and mods videos will still be posted every week it will be recorded in 1080px720p 60 fps. can i ask something diferent 😊 i change factory speakers on 407 demaged with new 4 speakers. Witch wire is positive on door panel White or Colored ? i cut the factory conector becose of new spekers

Maybe not stupid question but recently happened 407 2hdi starts like nothing but around 20km locks it from starting until engine temp goes down to 70 celsius

I'd recommend tightening the rocket cover evenly and In the recommend sequence. This type of car would be 13Nm torque. Also while the injectors are out it's an idea to clean inside the bore and use a cutter to make a perfect seal with the copper ring 👍
Has anyone else had their egr cooler leak coolant on one of these engines? I've got a coolant leak coming form the rear side of the engine and I think it's the egr cooler

Very useful video. I've somehow (stupidly) managed to drop a piece of small circle shaped foam / plastic cap liner into the oil tank. Do you know what the easiest way is to get stuff out of the oil tank? I can't see it when I look into the tank.
Warning! You used the same old bolts to secure the injectors. You should always use new bolts, bacause the old ones can never reach the correct torque. I also noticed you didnt use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts. But apart from that, the filming and commentery was brilliantly done. Thank you so much. Regards Mark.

I noticed the crankshaft sprocket is loose around the crankshaft. The notch is 3 mm wider than the spline. See at 1:07:50 the sprocket is moved back and forth. Can this not cause a problem if not put back the same way?
Mate is called a flowting pulley. Watch a whole video i explain i believe before i put belt on a video

Nope there is no transmision filter only sump plug with magnet to collect a metal dust

Hello ..have a nice day....mine 508 hdi 2011 semi automatic gearbox have some lick but thats not the problem i replace flywheel and clutch but a few days ago starts to switch from a1 to m2 and then goes to a2...no errors find on diagnostic device..may you have any Idea? What's the problem?

Hi great video can anyone help ? i have c4 picasso 1.6 thp petrol with semi auto egs gearbox now when it goes from 1st to 2nd theres a clunk noise ? its the same when it changes from 3rd down to 2nd all other gear changes are fine ? ive read that reflashing the gearbox can help this im not sure what that is or how you go about it im no mechanic theres no warnings coming up on dashboard thou my c4 has had new abs sensors fitted as well as new front and rear discs and pads fitted so i know all the magnetic rings are new can anyone help many thanks in advance !!
Hi mate my advice would probably be to find someone with diagbox and get your gearbox reprogrammed. Also i would check to make sure gearbox actuator is not leaking anywhere.

Hi! Is it a same procedure for Bosh and Siemens injectors? Because some servicers said to me that Siemens is too difficult to change. I have Siemens injectors.

Hey buddy ! If you didnt disconnect battery before hand and replaced seals would you have to re code ?
50% shore it wouldn't effect it. I'd just reset codes after the work is done and scan again for any problems
Great video. I have similary problem. Same.engine just mondeo mk4. Problem is that i have crank no start. I bleed the system and change hpfp with refurbished one but for now i dont have luck to start. I bleed inlet fuel hose, and after that outlet fuel hose. All fuel hoses are full of diesel but unable to start...

If you are really mad for French cars, your channel should also include cars like 405 Mi16, CX25 GTi Turbo II, 205 GTi 1.9, 306 GTi-6 and so on.
It should indeed and i am well avare of these models and seen most of them live, sadly i dont own any of them. Maybe next time i go peugeot festival i will do more material to cover a 405 Mi16 and they have loads of black 205 GTi so maybe i will make some contact and manage to get a video. Well for time being as you can see i havent really done any video for 2 years due to my health but hope to go back in it.

Thanks for the video, just replaced the bushing inside the shock absorbers, i am specialized in psa cars, but in brazil we have very few 407sw and we dont have replacement parts, just bought everything on aliexpress. The shock absorbers we are importing from italy. I am a proud owner of a c4 vtr

More room than a 2010 308 2.0HDI very good video , with the handy tip of marking the belt with three marks for lining up pre tension..Now to do mine.
What a detailed video! Great job. Just wondering why you need to mark the belt against the pulleys? I think as long as you lock the crank shalft and flying wheel, it does not matter how you put on the timing belt later. Do I miss something?
Yes mate its still possible to skip a tooth on a belt if you put it without marking its just a extra precaution to make sure 100% that you put it on exactly same as it was. If you skip 1 tooth then a work of engine will be different and cause problems.

Hi i'm french i have the same engine but on the peugeot 307 sw my tank are more and more brown ( yellowish) it's harder see the level of the coolant my question is if i changed the timing belt with water pump do you think it's enough to only flush the radiator or i have to flush also the engine ? my car has almost 340 000 km (around 211000 miles) thanks
I would flush all of it if possible if not then just radiator is better then nothing

Does the actuator fluid go to the slave cylinder? The actuator fluid is emptying and it’s dripping from gearbox side is this the slave
Hi mate yes actuator does go to slave and if its dripping on a side of a gearbox then it might be leaking from a connection between high presure hidraulic pipe and slave. There is one little metal clip holding it in place maybe it fall out or something or it might be a green rubber o ring seal gone preventing it from leaking
@@Mad4FrenchCars it’s dripping from the hole in the gearbox there is a tiny little hole in bottom of gear box ( not damaged) and it’s dripping from out of there that says to me that it’s leaking from slave seal

I cant shift the nuts on the fuel injector input. I want to give the spanner a tap with a hammer in the undo direction.
