  One of the best feelings is seeing all the hard work work out so well! I truly miss this machine! I still have it in storage too! Total mess now! I plan to break it out and fix with more upgrades!

  I have a 2000 Polaris expedition 425 shift shaft at the very end broke when I bought it it was broken I found a new one but I'm having issues with getting the cover to go all the way on and if I tighten it on then it binds the shift shaft won't move any experience on your end that you could help me with?

  Wow! So cool to see someone fixing one these today. I an sure in my videos of the engine rebuild you will see how it goes together. As for your shifter shaft. Did you get an original part? I do have the Polaris service manual with correct part numbers if you need my friend!

  Could be due to the four link ? Not sure you did anything wrong.

  I would agree that the 4 link conversion was not thought through. If you try to put stock plastic Y link in, you have to spread Y apart a lot to fit and binds! I think if Furitek would make a new upper Y link it would be perfect! They could even make it adjustable by closing in the Y. Add a threaded rod for the middle link.

  people on here that is stupid, this truck is carbureted by the option in 87 and even if it was efi the truck would had started up when he haven't pump the accelerator and to folks that has never driven a carbureted vehicle this is what you do when its cold pump the pedal every time before starting it
