Could be due to the four link ? Not sure you did anything wrong.

I would agree that the 4 link conversion was not thought through. If you try to put stock plastic Y link in, you have to spread Y apart a lot to fit and binds! I think if Furitek would make a new upper Y link it would be perfect! They could even make it adjustable by closing in the Y. Add a threaded rod for the middle link.
