  For the spirit box I asked a KZreadr on stream to say “do you like banana bread” the a hunt instantly started and he died😂

  i use the sound sensor to quickly find out which area the ghost is in lol it's the first thing i put, don't even take my flashlight with me

  Tip for Camera: Use it together with salt, to get alot of free money (does not work with Wraith)

  Crucifix can burn in your hand if the ghost hunts within the radius of the crucifix you're holding.

  as a newbie I wish there was some kind of training mode, where you could practice hiding, but if you got caught you didnt have to sit through the death sequence and it just reset.

  Just a correction you can see ghost orbs without night vision, you could also see them with the photo camera if the lighting is good.

  I personally deal with ghost hunting in the real world and i also play phasmophobia solo very casually.In real research i have already experienced so many scenes on myself and my friends that i am actually immune in game to scare myself.

  if youre on multiplayer and during the hunt a player inside the van uses the radio to talk to another player inside the house- will the ghost pick it up?

  The EMF is my go to device. Even if you aren't looking for a Level 5, you'll still get activity from it.

  I believe there is a ghost type which you can’t hide from? Your best chance is to run. But I could be wrong that might be an old thing

  But HOW DO I PLACE THE BOOK ON THE FLOOR? If i just press G it drops the book closed, how do i get the book open on the floor? What secret button do i have press? (Btw neither does F or right click work.)

  Tip for D.O.T.S. Projector: Always put a camera facing it. Some D.O.T.S. ghosts will only be visible if the player is viewing the projector through a camera.

  Tip for glowstick: light em up over salt and leave em there. If the ghost steps on salt, it will show you uv footsteps (not counted as fingerprints) and show u where the ghost went, also making footstep sounds. You can take a photo of this and get money for it. I usually dont watch out for salt too much, so hearing the footsteps helps me.

  me, im the coward and will be staying in the van when i first get to play phasmophobia. i want to be able to 1- save the run if possible 2- report possible ghost orbs 3- cower edit: DUDE!! USE THE SANITY PILLS!! i was extremely afraid that the ghost would catch you with the amount of hunts it was starting… if i ever become brave enough to enter the house i will periodically be going back to the van and checking my sanity level out of sheer fear for my life 😂

  most of this isnt possible anymore. if u use a ghost board or the mirror or any demonic object while alone in the house ur borderline garunteed to be hunted, and if u dont have a smudge stick AND escape plan u are DEAD. seriously they made the ghost hunting period so op now its crazy. if it hunts its borderline game over in alot of maps (on solo) cause theres no close hiding places. and now they even take hiding places from u so even less chance to survive and u cant outrun any ghost now except deogen.

  Very sad fact: soldiers that couldn't recover from the shell shock were sent to insane asylums Imagine fighting for your country You look into hell, then go into that hell It cost you to lose a body part of some kind It cost your mind to the point where you aren't even human Just to come home to get sent to an insane asylum Just for future generations to forget about you instead mostly focusing on the bigger conflict that happened 20 years later Talk about insult to injury

  FYI in more recent updates with the Deogen, do not bother hiding. it will find you, it will as a matter of fact instantly kill you if it reaches your hiding spot. However find any furniture and you can use that to avoid it since its slower than the players walking speed also his statement of your mic always being on is false.. i believe it had even a year ago a voice-activation option

  A pro tip for the Ghost Writing Book: when placing it, put it next to reference points (aligned to the edges of a table, a wall, etc. I usually align the middle of the book with the D.O.T.S. light). That way you'll be able to easily tell if the book has been thrown by the ghost. And if the book was thrown and the ghost didn't write in it after doing so, *_you can safely rule out Ghost Writing as an evidence_* because ghosts that write will *_always_* write whenever they try to throw the book. Be careful with Nightmare difficulty runs, tho, because you can't rule out evidences there.
