I think those covers serve 2 purposes. For noise and temperature. It probably doesn't make THat much of sound difference in terms of muzzling it but having heard a hayabusa with short exhaust I know how loud something like that is so I can only imagine what this monster sounds like at idle. I truly think most people have no clue how advanced formula 1s are to the average car or even supercar this was uploaded 10 years ago but I'm sure that's a steering wheel from the 2000s Looks like they're in a small garage space maybe near a track and obviously you don't want to suffocate everyone there with the fumes so you would redirect it away from the work area and the body of the F1. and That steering wheel tho 😍 For sure the new ones look good since it's new and things advance but something about its simplicity although advanced at the time is highly satisfying.

They're both great sounds for what they are. The v8 has a great quality v8 sound and the v10 has a great quality v10 sound. Both awesome. I guess it really depends on what type of engine sound you like. Personally I like the sound of a v10 more than a v8.

Yea what I have seen in the past are slip on mufflers/silencers just so it's not quite as loud in the garage. I suppose it may arrest some flame as well, but I know it does quiet them down a tick. These don't seem to have much of a silencer portion on them though.

It's purely to direct the hot exhaust away from the rear end components, which could melt without the cooling from the air as it's moving. They do nothing to quiet the noise; they're simply aluminum sheaths.

All were either painted Rossa Corsa (Racing Red-sorta a orangish red color) the rest were painted Rossa (Red) (Ferrari Scarlet Red) its a dark red basically. There are a couple with ending serial numbers 84236 painted a Blu color, not sure probably a dark blue. 88451 was painted "Abete" dark green, it has red leather interior. Another was painted Giallo" or Yellow from Factory.. the rest are re-paints. The F50 was painted several colors.

No, they are just deflectors. When the car is moving the air flow will push the heat and flames away from the body. When stationery, any heat and flames will hit the rear wing..
