  Nah I really like Omar’s perspective. It’s heartfelt and insightful. It really makes you think about the impact of our actions on future generations.   i am late to this british youtube world but i love all of you girls and am so proud of you mariam!! as someone who grew up in the church and christian school, i have all of the respect for people who live lukewarm and turn to Jesus!! it’s so rare so i’m beyond proud you’ve chosen the journey!! 🫶🏾

  side note: amina’s perspective on lust/how girls dress is the same i have!! i spent my whole life feeling ashamed to show as much as my shoulders because all of boy’s lust is blamed on girls in christian schools. at 23, i’m still working through the damage that caused. definitely agree to post/wear things with other people’s perceptions in mind, but also that there needs to be a larger conversation about raising boys with the mentality that girls are people, not objects to lust after.

  I love this video especially the conversation on modesty. One of the things I have struggled with is the 'what is the benchmark for modesty?' question. I have had this conversation several times and I guess the answer is inconclusive but what I have learnt is that our selflessness must be extended to how we dress as well.
