You say any card stock will work, but I’ve heard others say not to…I’m so confused! I want to make some graduation cards
I was trying to do a glitter HTV appliqué on a T-shirt and the stitching had gaps in it. I don’t know how to fix that. I’m new to embroidery and the person I bought the file from told me that this has been stitched out 1000 times and no one ever complained when all I asked was for help to troubleshoot. Any suggestions is appreciated thank you so much. I have a brother pe900, tshirt, cutaway stabilizer, glitter htv
We've never experimented with HTV and machine embroidery before. Is the design you purchased one available on our site? Knowing more information would be helpful. You can always email [email protected] for more in-depth assistance.

Excellent!
Why are designs not 5x7 but bigger?
We aren't sure what you mean. Most of our designs come in sizes 5x7 and higher. If you have additional questions, you can always reach out to [email protected]
Just wondering if anyone has done this on a janome 500e. I've tried twice but having heaps of trouble. It just keeps jamming.
we would be happy to help you troubleshoot with you! Please email our customer service team. [email protected]
I am new to quilting and have a 15 needle maching. how do I lower the needle on my machine?
We would be happy to help! Please email our customer service team. [email protected]
Just curious...What size is the design you used for the oval basket? Also, if one does not have water soluble stabilizer you could also use cork, vinyl, or felt to hide the stitching and stabilizer.; the same as you did for the cork design. Great tips and tricks, thank you.
We used the second smallest size!
I’m new to embroidery. Just bought my first machine a couple weeks ago. I just did some edge to edge quilting with it. It didn’t turn out to bad. A little less puckering on the back would’ve been nice. I’d really like to embroidered some fabric and make bags with it .

where do you get the template to print and cut out
When you download the design you can use machine embroidery software to print dielines and templates. If you don't have software, you can also stitch a sample of the design onto a scrap piece of fabric, and use that as a template.
The link doesn't work for the designs shown in the window.
Hi! Here's a link to the main design in the video. emblibrary.com/design/simple-symmetry-flourish-whitework-l7814. Is there a certain design you were looking for?
How big of quilts can you do?
There really is no limit! We generally make baby quilts as samples, but you could do queen and king size quilts if desired. It would only take longer.
I’ve looked and looked for this design with no luck why
The link to the design is in the description. emblibrary.com/design/buzzing-bee-and-blooms-accent-m30114
What needle and tension is used?
Tension settings will vary depending on the machine you are using. We recommend testing a stitch out on cardstock and adjusting your settings accordingly.
Thank You Karline., I raised this point with your company yesterday and Meredith kindly got back to me straight away with this very solution. I bought my machine almost new but second-hand so wasn't sure how it was set up. My problem is now solved! 🥰
So glad to hear!
I really want an embroidery machine but which one do I buy? It has to have a big enough hoop to do edge to edge quilting.
We recommend reaching out to a local deal to discuss options and budget. There are many machines on the market.
They are cute…..I want one!
Absolutely loved your video and the information
Glad it was helpful!
I am using the tear away stablizer and on the last stitch around. It is cutting out the coaster already, I am afraid that its going to come loose and mess everything up, any suggestions??
What type of tearaway are you using? You can always email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help troubleshoot with you.
Thank you, this was such a great video.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much!! Thar actually really helped me!
Glad to hear it!
Thanks for solving that mystery! I thought it was just me. Off to see if my machines will allow me to sort it out! Thanks Karline. Your videos are the best x
Happy to help!
I have really old Brother PE-Design software that is Windows XP-based. (!) To get around color consolidating, I have always edited the repeating colors to something else, or a different thread manufacturer, so it guaranteed a color change stop. That worked for me! [I'll upgrade my software when I get back into embroidery again. Have been away from it for awhile, due to being a caregiver for my husband.]
I am new to machine embroidery. Why is it that when I download a design the colors are not the same ones as advertised on your site? I have to go into my software or the design on my machine and change the colors to the correct ones one at a time, regardless of the brand of thread I am using? Am I downloading the wrong type? I have a Bernina.
Each format has a different database of thread colors, which is why some design formats show strange colors. This is why we provide color change sheets, so that you know exactly what we used, and can follow that instead of what is written on your machine. We have a great video on strange colors that can be found here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqSb2a-CYLTNc7w.html
I have just purchased the By The Sea coasters and find it very confusing any chance there is a video on this or coasters as you only showed trivet.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We would be happy to help you get this figured out! ☺
It would be nice if the dielines were PDFs, then they could just be printed off.
Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you for the tips. I haven't had any of these problems with your designs.
That's awesome to hear.
Great explanation!
Great info
I haven't had this issue but Thank you!! I download right fron your site to my embroidery machine
Great tips
You sound like you are getting over a cold. So sorry😢
Love this. Can't wait ti try. Looking for rope already!!!!!
What fabric are you placing over the bag?
we used this design on top of the bag! emblibrary.com/design/cruising-and-surfing-retro-truck-coaster-in-the-hoop-emp82963-1
Niceeeeee
Thank you!
😊
Where can I get a magnetic hoop like you use, tape and markers?
We use a Brother magnetic hoop!
what hoop is this?????
we use a Brother magnetic hoop!
I really like this suggestion is really cool. What type of embroidery machine you have? What are the pieces that you have there? do you have them positioned around the area where if you were basing around embroidery image it ?
we used our Brother embroidery machine and magnetic hoop to stitch the design onto the tote.
I tried the Here Kitty Kitty and had a wrinkled end result. Any suggestions?
Please email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help troubleshoot.
Very informative. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Sewing Machine name?
We often use a Brother Luminaire when embroidering rope bowls.
Thank you for such a simple tutorial. I’ve been so overwhelmed trying to figure out my embroidery machine and all the complicated videos out there. This was really easy to understand!
Glad it was helpful!
I've seen that some people use more than one layer of stabilizer. When and why would that be indicated?
In most instances we don't recommend using more than one layer. Doing so only creates more material for your needle to work through. Our general recommendation is to use at least a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on most projects (with the exception of embroidering on organza).
Do you use cutaway stabilizer or fusible interfacing? Where do you put it? Between the layers?
You might not need stabilizer for edge-to-edge quilting.
Very helpful thankyou. I always wondered how the edges were done.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you
You're welcome!
I can’t wait to try this. My only question is with the thickness of the rope, do you have to adjust your tension? It looked like you had a brother and I have the Luminaire, will I need to adjust the tension?
No, you do not!
I like the embroidery applique, but I hate the die line method of doing it. It’s not very accurate, the pieces often shift so the end result is not that great. The better way is to tack down and trim. I wish embroidery library would change their way of doing applique. I would imagine these quilt blocks are also done with die lines. Not the best.
Thanks for your feedback, we will send it along to our team!
