    I almost bought the same dumbbells from braingain. But then I saw the adjustabells from Kensui. I think they are a really good/cheap option if you have plates already

  • @VTF82

    Braingain sells them for 650 euros! Also with black coloured plates with nylon inserts, so there is less play between the plates.

    Yeah I think most people would be very happy with either of these tbh. The reason I’d personally say these beat them are the smaller increments (I didn’t realise how handy they’d be for me personally) and there’s less plastic (less chances of them breaking over time). But for sure I’d be very happy with the brain gains, I’ll try and get my hands on some at some point

    I'll never understand people who throw dumbels or plates. It shows a real lack of respect. If you can lift it, you can put it back normally. The only reason you'd ever drop dumbels is to save your life if you're blacking out from lifting.

  • @stronghomegym

    I only drop rubber dumbbells at the end of bench presses from the lowest point I can get them WHEN nobody else is in the gym. They drop maybe a foot to the rubber floor mat. I totally agree, throwing or dropping from height is reckless, and disrespectful.

    Been looking for a set of adjustable DBs for a while to fill in the gaps in what I have right now. The fact that the company makes every replacement part available for purchase suggests they have a strong customer focus and would give me a lot of confidence in buying these.

    These look great, however, anything with that many moving parts scares me a bit. I’m not a dropper but I’d always like to know that if I did need to bail out of a lift for whatever reason then I could! I’ll stick with my Ironmasters for now. Side note, can you do a review and further details on your Stairmaster??

  • @stronghomegym
    @stronghomegymАй бұрын

    Yeah I totally get it. To be honest I've been pretty rough with these and I don't think you'll have many issues unless you consistently throw them from a height. Even when I need to bail I still try to lower them as much as possible- I think the design means they have to move around a bit, if they didn't there would need to be more plastic, which probably would lead to breaking over time

When the game game to the US, Canada and Australia we all already had our own versions of a game called football so we adopted the slang name for the sport as the official name. Recently bought a nordstrap as brilliant knee extension alternative. They have patented tech meaning no other brand can do this so they all use fiddly pins which are a pain to fold away (meaning you probably won't).
