    After owning mine for 14 months, the key pad is fried. Seems like every single one has this issue. I'll probably sell mine and buy one from Cabela's.

    I just bought the TS20-30. While attempting to set my personal 6 digit combination it beeps after the 5th digit and will not take my code. Anyone had this issue before? I already changed the battery to an energizer alkaline max 9v

    I would ensure that you have the correct key for your safe. If it doesn't, it may require contacting a locksmith to make entry into the safe for you, so that you can replace the entire key lock and electronic lock.

    Sounds like everyone has the same issues around same timeframe. 1yr 5mo for me, contacting them today. So how long does the new keypad last for or is there another better replacement?

    I’m 6 months in on the replacement, so not sure. The replacement looked identical to the original, so probably still a piece of junk. When you remove the door cover you will see that the safe is just not a quality one. I’ll never buy Winchester again.

    Mix one ounce of concentrated permethrin to thirty-two ounces of water. It will turn white when mixed. It will settle when not in use, so shake it up to mix it thoroughly each time.

    I’ve been using big 6 minerals from tractor supply and have mixed it with the pride brand you are using as well. We have to be careful with molasses here in the south because of fire ants

    5 beeps = cpu. The motherboard has a fault warning system on board which is designed to help you troubleshoot the issue. In this case your motherboard is telling you that there is something wrong with the processor.

    @@IndianaMint unfortunately it sounds like it. I have the email address listed in one of the comments and they were fairly easy to deal with. If it’s over a year old, it’s probably a bad board. Mine was a $600-700 purchase and it went bad one day shy of being one year old.

    It was probably 60....camera made it look a lot further than it was. I didn't even realize it was that far out until I exited the woods. But the Verdict is in. And it was GUILTY!!!! LOL

    They do carry it, but as some comments show, it is difficult to find and not all stores carry it. If you can’t find it, pick you up some Buck Bourbon deer attractant and substitute it. It has a lot of dried molasses in it.

    My safe has a key lock behind the keypad to access in the event that the keypad fails. If yours doesn’t have this, it may require a locksmith to get you access.

    Battery change issue in a Winchester 16 long gun safe w/ a Kava keypad? You have to slide the entire keypad straight up and off of two screw pins to expose the 9v battery. It may be on tight but you pop it off using finger pressure only. Back the screws off a quarter turn if it seemed way too tight. FYI....

    They kind of helped me out I guess. My warranty was 2 months out of date so I had to pay. It ended up being $65 shipped to my door and took about 5 days. It was super easy to put in and now my safe works like it should again

    The minerals do help with antler growth and health especially during dry years . I don’t think they magically grow massive antlers but they do help Them grow to their maximum genetic potential . I’ve found the bull The elk stop hitting the minerals after their antlers have grown .

    I agree. I think it helps some, but protein added to this supplemental mineral mix is going to have the best results based on what I have read from scientific studies on this.

    I loved the Winchester LB when they came out. I switched to TSS when I changed out my choke because I was tired of missing birds. I did hear that the Quality Control went downhill on the LB shells for a while, but was corrected

    @@brentbusick2245 not at all. I honestly don’t know what was happening. It could have been a combination of bad shells and the choke, or it could have only been me. What I do know is that I haven’t missed a bird in years now since I changed my choke and shell set-up, which is exactly what I said in the video.

    I got all of my stuff from a local Tractor Supply store, but it must be a seasonal item that I lucked up on. If you can’t find it, buy a bag of the Buck Bourbon and substitute it. That stuff has a lot of dried molasses in it. Tractor Supply carries that stuff too.

    I use a 5 gallon bucket full of corn and water it down stir mix add water as needed for two weeks then wet again this time add a pack of flavored jello mix to bucket of corn wet it again stirring it good and put it out and happy hog hunting an old time hog hunter taught me this and it works well

    Yes that is an attractant/feed mixture, but doesn’t do anything for them as far as minerals go. That Jello trick does work though. It’s like the C’mere Deer corn soak stuff.

    Nice video, I bought that same safe back in October and now I'm having problems with the locking pins sticking on the bottom, so sometimes it only secured at the top with the first and second pin

    I would def contact the company at the email address I listed in the comments below. If your safe is eating batteries, there is a draw on power somewhere and that motherboard and parts I changed in the video are the only electronics on the safe. Even if it's not under warranty anymore, it would be cheaper to replace it than to keep buying batteries. A 9 volt should last about a year, though they recommend changing them every 6 months.

    When I set it up when I bought it the battery that it came with lasted 1 days so I that maybe it sat at the store to long so I bought new battery and it lasted 4 days I emailed Winchester waiting for response

    I just found out that my granny has 3 lots down by the river in a abandoned neighborhood due to 90 foot flood back in 2016. The lots are near two hunting leases now. My grampa use to hunt there on the lots until his stroke 2 years ago. I just took the lots over a month ago. Using corn, but been researching other ways to benefit the deers/ my hunt next year! Found this recipe online and searched it on KZread. Came across yours and I’ll be doing the same for years to come! East Texas is my hunt! Hope you had a great season!

    The deer hammered it as long as I kept it out. I freshened my sites up once per month up until the rut and they still hit it afterwards. I have no gauge to tell if it improved anything yet, as that can take years, but I plan to use it this year too.

    I have that exact same safe and at 1 year to the date I bought it it is currently giving me trouble with the lock. Currently have an email out to Winchester. Hopefully they will just send me the parts I need. This video was very informative on how to change it out. Thank you!

    I may put a new video together as a follow-up. The minerals worked great as far as getting hammered by the deer. It’s hard to say at this point how beneficial this mix has been, as it normally takes several years to see a major impact.
