I switched from supabase (after many years of loving it) to convex. Its amazing! Ditched RLS Ditched RPC Its basically everything i was doing the super long way using supabase now much easier with convex. Would love your review on it

You definitely did not have to create your authentication from scratch. You just had to add one api route that handles email confirmation, and that's only required if you want to use pkce flow (which is recommended).

well yes I didn't have to write it from scratch but really what I was trying to say is that it does requires more work compared to Clerk to add it to your app.

I’ve been using Appwrite instead of Supabase recently mostly because it’s a lot easier to setup self-hosting, both are great products though!

imo yes. I'd learn react for web development and then you can also build mobile apps with react native and then later on if you want to you can learn to build apps with Swift/Kotlin

if I want to build an application that i want both on iOS and Andriod that communicates with IoT Devices such as fans or lights, what's the best way? should i go react native? any help or input would be nice. I have programming knowledge so adapting to any is okay by me but i really wanna know whats the best and easiest way to go about it since i will be the only one developing it
