  At the end of the day if The Acolyte was good nobody would mention the DEI stuff, but the fact that The Acolyte is a load of stinky runny do-do means some people will, rightly or wrongly, link the turd of a show with the Diversity politics. IMO Disney purposely use Diversity as a shield which allows them to make a lazily written pile of trash, which they can then accuse the "haters" of the show of being racist/sexist/bigots/phobes etc... And most of the Reviewers who gave The Acolyte good reviews only did so because they were probably just trying to avoid being slapped with one of those labels. The Acolyte isn't shit because it's Woke, it's shit because it's shit!
