  Two years ago I purchased a Smart 2200 11.1 battery and only used it a couple of times. Now it is completely dead. Do they go bad after a period of time. If so...I'm done with these. I don't use the batteries every week.

  DXE has a computer program called "Spektrum Programmer -beta" that works excellent on the DXE. The program programs all the usual stuff including Expo & rates. Find it on Spektrum's web site and make sure you are running version 3.8. The program uses the USB dongle programming cable. FWIW, I made an adapter to cut the red wire from the cable so that I can power up the DXE using its own battery rather than using the 5V from the computer which doesn't really provide enough power to reliably operate the DXE.

  works well with the AR610 receiver - dont know why it shouldnt work with any 6-channel receiver as printed.

  1 cell is 3.7V so 6S is 22.2V by the book but in real life fully charged 1 cell is 4.2V so 6S is actually 6 x 4.2V = 25.2V On battery charger 1 cell 3.7V is seen like fully 4.21V and when not using battery you keep storage mode at 3.85V. If the Lipo battery goes under 3.4V in use it can be R.I.P for the battery but can be maybe lift up with low volt charger healed up to 3.6V so the Lipo charger will load it again. It alerts " Too low cell voltage ". Buffed up lipo that has expanded is wasted and normally goes unstable low volt. That battery must been disposed correctly. Danger to even go in fire flames. Thats my little knowing of these fine batterys. I keep watching that Lipos are doing ok time to time measuring volts and that they storaged in dry and stable warmed room. Not in freeze and not in hot room. Cheers!

  Thanks for the video. I've found that if you assign F-Modes on the Tx side and assign to the same switch as the Flight Modes on the Rx side (the two are independent) then you can just change the SAFE level flight trimming without the trim changes affecting the other modes. Makes things a lot easier than landing and changing attitude settings in Forward Programming.

  Thanks but I am wondering, by powering on your plane whilst its plugged into thw tablet wouldn't that damage the tablet or phone? When you use that cable on your PC the PC warns u not to have any other power connected to the rx.

  I have the IX12 with Spektrum telemetry RX, but when I go to Telemetry-Altitude screen. I dont see "status reports" for the callouts.Any ideas where to find that ? thx

  Help please. I still can't get my SAFE turned on. My plane does the dance twice when it starts up, the Spektrum Programme software on my PC also states that my rx (AR636A) is now in SAFE mode and has the word safe in its name but I still don't see the SAFE function working. I get AS3X movements only. When I invert the plane I do not get the rapid movement I should be getting with SAFE on in other words the plane does not try and roll over to correct its self. The switch (3 position switch) I have assigned appears to work as on the first position it is off altogether and on the second and third position it is on AS3X only, when the third position should be for SAFE. The flight modes I have set are on FM1 it is off, FM2 is 40% gain rate and 150% priority, and FM3 is 40% gain rate and 150% priority. I have also followed the binding process and stick alignment process shown in this video but to no avail. Can I pls get help.

  How did you set the bank angles? I cannot see those settings options on the Spektrum Programmer.

  It appears that once you have set the orientation of the rx there is no option to change it later for the AR636. I remember setting my rx's orientation but I can no longer see the option to adjust it. Please tell me I'm mistaken and show me how.

  Question, I want to use 2 channels for ailerons as I need to programme a mix to use flaps as flaperons as the model has a one piece trailing edge on each wing same as F16. The reflex as just one aileron port so how do I use the reflex in this example ? Thanks for your help.
