Why did you guys discontinue these boards I needed them for a project and can't find anything as small or as simple
Which grease we can use for long life
thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu very helpful
what kind of servo/linear actuators do airplane spoilers use? how can they extend that fast?
Every one of these videos. Nobody specifies whether the narrow side of the crimper and goes towards the front of the connector or not. I've pinched off the wires I'm trying to connect three times already
Hi I need a linear actuator with 6000N that can adjust limit. I don’t wanna burn it out and I don’t wanna spend a ton of money! Anyone got ideas ? Off Amazon maybe?
Soooo what size servo uses a 25t horn? I’m trying to find aluminium horns for mks micro servos
Is it ok to reverse the diodes so the cathodes face one another instead of the anodes?
Great Video! Question - what do you call a momentary switch that can switch forward and backwards vs a switch that could be just in forward or backward position?
Thanks Dear... It helped me a Lot.. May you Live Happy Always 🙂
Interesting video 😊
When you Take Out the screw and rotate the whole assembly you lose your factory marking.
A couple questions! What is the noise rating on the servo? Also, if I were to open the servo and move the limit switch on the fully-extended side (desolder, drill, solder), would the servo have a correctly-functioning shortened range? I'm looking to do ~85 lbs with a ~1.5" throw and it would be excellent to have the safety in hardware, not software.
How about the position of the pivot when the skid steer spins "in place"?
Do I need a gearbox with this if I'm gonna use it on a rc 110scale crawler chassis
is there another mechanism that preforms the same but smaller and compact?
With your Ball bearings and mounts, would you have any mounts that can be fitted to the floor and ceiling, with the rod being exposed out of the ceiling for a small DC Generator, plus a outer shell to go over the rod with a plate for a base to be mounted for a plate??
I need to mount wheels on a 775 motor that spins high revs for tennis ball machine launcher. I'm struggling to find appropriately matching couplers and wheels to give a balanced outcome. Any tips on the most ideal way.
thank you so mach
احسنتم يا شباب اعجبني
came hear to learn about linear bearings got distracted by the perfect cnc cut helmet you are wearing.
What is the difference between skid and differential steering? Is it just the number of wheels?
I wonder the same.
Ive just used the on an rc retract system they work fantastic!
Hi Kyle 😍
Thank you! What brand and model is the dpdt hd momentary switch? I need one to control the direction for a 3D printer stepper motor.
GREAT VIDEO! I want to put an actuator on my lawnmower deck. How do I calculate the size, travel, and strength needed? The mower deck is roughly 200 lbs. Thanks!
Why there is play in lm8uu based linear rail , I measure the diameter of different roads all diameter is less than 8mm it's around 7.6 to 7.8 mm is it common tolorance or perfect 8mm rods are also available??
Cool. Looks like a blast!
who do you size the diode?
You forgot to show us what tools to use for each screw 🙌😭
Is there any way I can solve the problem? Thank you. Regards
These are obsolete and you don't even sell them anymore. I'm looking for a video on the new gearboxes sold by ServoCity.
We will put a new video on the docket! Thank you for mentioning it.
Very useful. Thank you.
Good afternoon. Re. Hitec HS-785HB servo. I had this servo since 2008 and it always worked fine. Suddenly it went mad. It goes from end to end without stopping at any stick position. Any advice on how to fix the problem.. Thanks and regards C. M. La Fery
Hello, It sounds like the feedback pot has become disconnected from the output shaft. Hard to know for sure, but that can create the behavior I think you're experiencing.
@@ServoCity I'm having a similar issue with my HS-785HB. Except I believe when I ordered mine, I had it modified for continuous rotation. And now, it just keeps spinning in one direction and never stops, regardless of what commands I send it.
Thanks
For my application I need 2, of the 2" Stroke 115 lb Thrust Heavy Duty Linear Actuator, I wanted to know if I could use a, "Thrustmaster USB Joystick (PC)", or which one do you recommend. I don't understand much. I have seen your video. Thanks Raffaele
thanks for the help 👍 amazing moustache btw
thx for the series!
I love how smooth the animation is. Also I'm a bit new with these worm gears but I did have a couple questions about them. 1. Is it possible to have a 4:1 or 5:1 ratio with a worm gear? I've been told the lowest they can go is 10:1 but I figured I'd ask the experts. 2. Can these worm screw gears work with bevel gears as well? And if they can, can two bevel gears be used on both sides of the worm screw gear?
The reason why you can't really go lower than 10:1 is because the gear ratio of a worm drive is equivalent to [the number of teeth on the gear]:1. A 4 or 5 tooth gear just can't work, so that's why there's that limitation. As for the bevel gear question, I don't really see any reason why you would want to use a bevel gear since you can already put that gear at any orientation around the worm. And yes, you could have multiple gears running off the same worm as long as you can fit them.
Where can i find those wheels
I bought an actuator for my boat trim motor and it lasted about 3 weeks before it died. I made sure it was water proof and then I also sprayed it with water proofing. So that is one thing you forget to mention. It had much more dynamic and static load rating than I needed and was the correct voltage. It was slow but I would rather slow than not enough lift. Anyway, I would be interested to know what went wrong. The company had a 30 day return but by the time I was able to install I really only got about 3 weeks out of it and maybe had to lift the motor 8 times during that period. Can you comment on what may have/could have gone wrong ?
HELP please! Bought second hand metal gear servos with metal arm and now need to replace arms. But cannot remove them at all. may be they are on thread locker? What you suggest - how to remove the arms? Its Power HD 1501 MG analog servo. Thanks
Could you show on how to set up the same system but using relays for higher amperage circuits where the switches, using less amps, to trip the relays to run the motor?
I've got a Microzone MC7 transmitter that I'm trying to use to drive a two-motor dual tracked vehicle. Now I think I'm prepared to do some experiments tomorrow, thanks!
Thank you! I’m an amateur (very amateur) builder and I’m putting together an electric outboard, but I’ve never used thrust bearings before in my life! Your explanation of how they’re used is so concise and simple to understand and will let me finish my project.
Dove si possono acquistare grazie
Great Info! Thanks!
such a great video! Execllent explaination
In Australia, we call them two different names (bolt or screw) so we always know the style your talking about ;p
