I loved the scene with Alicent swimming and looking at the bird, she probably felt free for the first time after she was talking about being cast aside and when she was younger she felt like her situation was a prison

I’m loving season two… It gives me kind of season two vibes of Game of Thrones where they go from epic and sprawling in the first season to a lot more focussed on individual characters and their struggles in the second one

I saw Deadpool today and I kept thinking. This show is better than Deadpool... which did make me laugh. But it never had me at the edge of my seat. That Tully King and those dragons roaring, chomping and burning up people kept my heart racing.

There are many characters in the book who do one significant thing and then get pushed to the background for the rest of the conflict. In the show, so many of those characters have given really amazing performances we all want to see more of. Excited to see the show tow the line of finding ways to continue including some of our favorites who's utility in the book has already run out. It will be a fine line. It makes me think of Bronn from GoT, not an important character in the book but elevated in the show because of the actor's performance, for better and for worse.

What a ride! Thanks for being here already! My hearts still racing! I loved it! So first I Love that you commented about the beautiful opening scene. Eye candy you’re so right. And yeah it’s slow at times but I didn’t mind. Beautiful scene. Funny how it was so easy to find lots of bastards. The network is efficient lol. The scene with Jace was an uh-oh with Jace calling out Rhaenyra about his father and though I understand his point ugh heck Rhaenyra has no choice and I want to see some new dragon riders!!! Can’t help but like Hugh from the start of the season and wondered where he fits in. Now we know. Not going to lie - that was so exciting and fun to see. Completely Terrifying ….but awesome! Oscar was so good. Loved him. So young and full of integrity. Back to the dragons, wow!!!

In the book there’s hardly anything about Jason 2 and the show rectified that and gave us a lot to chew on and then gave us the same ending as the book! I feel cheated!

I find it interesting that you enjoyed this episode so much. As a casual viewer, I am not surprised at all that this was the lowest-rated episode on imdb. I struggled to make it through this episode, even though the rest of this season had me on the edge of my seat. Personally, I think the reason this episode was so unappealing was the fact that it was essentially an inside joke. It was an episode about acting: by actors, directors, and screenwriters, for actors, directors, and screenwriters. Most people outside of Hollywood and New York City don't attend plays regularly. Most people don't work in show business. So it's boring and uncomfortable to see actors playing--well, actors. When I watch a movie or an episode of tv, I want to believe that the actors actually ARE the characters they are playing--that they are fully inhabiting the role to the point where the actor and their character are indistinguishable. Not so in this episode. The storyline about actors pretending to be actors broke the fourth wall for me and made me realize that everyone in this episode (except, perhaps, for Natasha) is just an actor. 😢

Dunno how to say this without sounding like a psychopath but I was happy when Adam died...happy for the narrative because Adam was like a little lemming always trying to walk off cliffs or walk into spinning blades so if you ever take your eyes off that lemming it just always heads toward its death.

Dorothy and Sean are in a very toxic codependent relationship. And Julian has been definitively fired, since he doen't leave the house anymore. The season, writing and characters are all stagnant, with many loose ends, forced atmosphere that ends up being plainly ridiculous and many leads that take audience nowhere.

I don't know how you keep all these characters together. But its much appreciated. Whenever the Yakuza enter these shows my brain kinda shuts down. They kinda give me a Keystones cops or Star Wars Clones vibe. My favorite thing about this show is Sunny. That face is so expressive, I can really feel emotions from those eyes. And now with this override chip Sunny is really about to take off. Altho ... I still haven't seen how Sunny manipulates stairs.

Thank you so much for making these reviews of episodes as they come out! It makes me feel like we're watching it together, and I love how you put this out on the day of the episode's release. So, thank you again! I love your theory's and analysis of the show and overall quickness of the videos as right after I finish the episode I like to watch a recap/ analysis of what happened. Now, for my thoughts: I agree that this episode felt a bit slow and talky, but I believe the buildup was necessary. I initially thought Hemie was the leader, but it seems her father is actually in charge. This revelation makes sense of her actions, especially her spying on Suzie to find the dark manual and secure her position as leader instead of Jim. The bathroom scene was uneventful until the pony-haired guy entered. I don’t know his name, but when he told the guy to continue his bath, I sensed something bad was about to happen. It was heartbreaking to see Mixie witness that; her terrified expression really conveyed how traumatizing the murder scene was. Overall, I agree with your rating-it was indeed a bit slow and talky, but the buildup was necessary. Despite that, I still love the show and its mysteries. I was also surprised to learn that Masa's dad isn’t actually his real father; it took me a moment to grasp that twist!
